Dr. Nikolaos Kanellopoulos, MD

WORST OFFICE STAFF I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH, by far!!!! I have requested to speak with the doctor on SEVEN different occasions via e-mail, voicemail, personal calls with office staff and the medical assistant. They all said they would have him call me, still no call (4 weeks later). They were late scheduling a very critical scan for me, and I had to do hours of phone calls with the insurance company to clear it up in time. Something that the medical assistant said "sorry there's nothing else we can do", even when I told her what needed to be done (details from the insurance agent). They simply do not care about their patients. I personally think the office staff is hiding most of this from the doctor. If he knew how bad they were, there's no way he would most of them. Dr. K is amazing, and genuinely cares and is a good doctor. But if you can never get through to him, it doesn't matter.

My low rating is not due to Dr K. When I found his office, I saw Mary who was wonderful. I sent my partner to him. They have been great with him. But every visit I have I end up with Sabrina. She is the worse!! She doesnt listen, twice disagreed with how I was telling her I felt. Never ever will I go there again!

My 94yo geriatric mother and I have been seeing Dr K for over 10+ yrs. He got my mother healthy and off the "always feeling ill" old people cycle. His "bed side manner" is incredible. He is the most caring and concerned Dr we have ever met.

Dr. K is the best . He is so kind and really cares about his patients. He knows everything in your records and asks specific questions about your issues. The only complaint I have is that the staff does not answer the phone. You always have to leave a message.

Ladies at front try to be helpful, but at the back (manager?) is another story. It took over a week, & too many phone calls to get her to fax my cpap supplier the info so I could obtain urgently needed supplies. She exhibited little concern to rectify the problem her office actually created. Dr K needs better support, as he is an excellent PCP.

Dr. Kanellopoulos is a very caring, patient, and understanding doctor. He is very personable and easy to communicate with. I really appreciate his kindness and thoughtfulness. One of the best doctors I've been to.

Dr. K listens

Dr. Kanellopoulos is the first doctor ever that could help my husband with his blood pressure. He listens and works with us. He is also a great diagonostician. He diagnosed an obstruction between my brain and eyes and ordered an MRI. He was right, it was a brain tumor that was cancer. The day before I saw him, the emergency room did a CAT scan and saw nothing. Said I should see an eye doctor and sent me home. I had never been to Dr. K before but he certainly helped me. I am almost 5 years out now from brain surgery and proton radiation and I am doing great. Thanks to Dr. Kanellopoulos! I did have trouble calling at his old office, but now he is in a suite at the hospital and probably easier to get an appointment. But even if it is not easy, he is worth waiting for.

Not overly impressed with this Dr., he does not order blood work routinely but seems to know his business. The front line staff are fabulous but the one you talk to to schedule appt or check out with needs to find a different job that does not require customer service. She is VERY rude and does not answer phone or return calls in a timely manner. If you stop by to ask a question (since you can't reach her by phone)she acts like you're bothering her! If it wasn't for the patients, she wouldn't have a job!

Certainly glad that he takes such good card of my husband and I. He is one concerned Dr.
