Dr. Niku Singh, MD

I am so disappointed in this doctor. He is a puppet for Worker's Comp and does what puts money in advantage Healthcares pocket. Doubles my medication then disappears for 3 months? I have driven downtown Dallas 29 miles for two appts I had with him. They cancelled them WHEN I arrived. He told me my diagnosis then told me he could not write it down because Advantage Healthcare told him not to. He is NOT the person or doctor you think he is!

I’ve been seeing Dr Singh for several years and can say unquestionably he is THE best physician I’ve ever seen or met! He is always up to date in the latest psychiatric treatments and therapy. One of his specialties is psychopharmacology but he still does individual counseling with patients. I give him my highest recommendation without hesitation.

My daughter was treated by Dr. Singh. Unfortunately I haven’t even spoken to they doctor because he won’t call me back. I find the way he has treated this situation to be highly unprofessional. I wouldn’t ever recommend anyone see a doctor that cannot contact both parents. This doctor will do anything for money and is obviously in psychiatry for the wrong reasons.

After my son suffered a sever trauma, he called to make an appointment with Dr. Singh. My son was told his status is "inactive" as if he was a bank account and that Dr. Singh is not taking new patients. I called myself to see if Dr. Singh is taking new patients and surprise - he is. He basically dumped a patient he is unable to treat effectively; a vulnerable patient who had put his trust in him. Dr. Singh cherry picks his patients to make himself appear more successful than he is.

Dr. Singh has great empathy without the condescending walking on egg shells most psychiatrists exhibit, he actually uses humor! He keeps up to date with the latest medications and is an expert in the biological mechanisms of mental illness while still strongly supporting the need for therapy. Dr. Singh has helped me enormously over the last several years.

He listens, and the gentleman knows his field. There is a reason Dr. Niku Singh is consistently given high marks by his patients.

this doctor is very well versed in medications, surprisingly more so than any other psychiatrist I have seen. he also knows a lot about psychology. homerun in first few visits!

Dr. Niku Singh is an outstanding physician that is knowledable in medical and psychiatric diagnoses. I was so pleased with services provided that I have referred family members and friends.

Dr. Singh is the consummate professional. He "got" me right off the bat and an action plan is in place to start beating back my depression. I feel very confident that his judgment is excellent, his "pedigree" certainly is, and I liked him very much. I gave him five stars for follow-up just on the assumption that will be so--there is nothing to follow up just yet.

Niku Singh is excellent. I first met him four years ago after taking my very troubled teenage daughter to Fairfax Hospital's ER on a Friday night. I was given his name and contact info because he was on call that weekend. I phoned his office and was given an appointment for my daughter the very next day, a Saturday. The next two years involved regular appointments with Dr. Singh for my daughter. His early diagnosis of her as having what to me is a horrifying personality disorder (no conscience) was absolutely correct. I wish I had been able to fully understand and accept his diagnosis way back then. It would have saved me a lot of grief, despair, confusion, and suffering. He is the easiest doctor to talk to that I've ever met.
