I have to disagree with some of the comments below. I first went to Dr.Keene not sure exactly what my problems were but she helped me figure out what was going on. She also gradually upped my medication for 6 months until I was at the proper dosage. That was 3 years ago and my dosage has not changed. She does not just write out prescriptions left and right she gets to know her patient and took the time to get to know me. Since seeing Dr. Keene I have gotten 3 promotions and am a much happier and healthier person.

All she did was write prescriptions, but rarely talked to me. I felt alone. Once I started to have bad side effects to the medicines she wrote for me I tried reaching out for answers or for reassurance that I'd be okay, she would just nod and throw me a one liner. Not a lot of communication, which is why I stopped seeing her and ended all my medications cold turkey (which is not a great idea, but I was desperate). If you're looking for a doctor just to get your meds she's great, she's very calm and not at all intimidating. The staff is very friendly, the waits are very short and the office is cozy. If you're new to meds and need someone to talk to and walk you through what's going on I suggest finding someone else.

DR. KEENE IS A PEOPLE PERSON SHE TREATS ME VERY WELL. i HAVE SO MUCH TRUST IN HER THAT I CAN REALLY OPEN UP TO HER ABOUT MY PROBLEMS AND BOY DO I HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS. SHE CALMS ME DOWN, AND SITS AND LETS ME SPEAK FIRST. THEN SHE WILL TAKE THE MATTER IN HER OWN HANDS, SHE GENTLE, WARM AND VERY CON CONCERNED ABOUT MY HEALTH. i HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW PSYCHIATRIST IN MY TIME AND IF SHE EVER LEAVES I WOULD BE DEVASTATED.

This doctor is terrible. A family member was a patient for 6 months and all she does is prescribe Rx meds. After 6 months she was getting over 600 pills per month and landed in detox and rehab. Her marriage is practically ruined and it is a wonder she didn't OD. If you or a loved one are seeing this doctor have another medical professional review your Rx history - it is insane. Don't believe anything this doctor says.

We were referred to Dr. Keene but after 4 attempts to make an appointment we went elsewhere. The receptionist did not want to call our insurance company and said she would call us back. Never did. Too bad but best choice for us since we fond a great doctor elsewhere!

I would just like to say that Dr. Keene cares for her patients and their families and is always willing to help in any circumstance. I can't say enough wonderful things about her.

doctor keene is one of the best doctors in south jersey and so is her admin staff.

If you are looking for a psychatrist to give you all the meds you need including an unlimited supply of addictive benzodiazipines, she's the one for you. We call her Dr. Feelgood because as long as you pay her, she will give you whatever you ask for. She has little concern for what is going on with you medically, she doesn't even ask. Her specailty is writing scripts and keeping you as sedated as possible. She considers you a difficult patient if you do not respond well to taking 14 differnt medications that actually make you suicidal after years of non-suicidal behavior. Instead of re-evaluating the medication, she blames the patient and calls them treatment resistant which is absurd and only reinforces the fact that this doctor does not want to trat patients, but only wants to medicate them and get paid. This is one to avoid, unless of course your addicted to benzo's, then she's the doc for you.
