Dr. Shukla has been amazing to diagnose my issues. He takes time to talk and goes above and beyond to listen and evaluate. He is a wholesome physician and very methodical. He doesn’t rush and gets to the bottom of the problem. I am truly thankful to him.

Following an attack of diverticulitis, I followed up with Dr Shukla for my first colonoscopy. He discovered a very small lesion on my colon which he biopsied and subsequently tested positive for adenocarcinoma. I visited 3 top surgical oncologists in the NY metro area, all of whom commented on his ability to recognize such a small lesion during a routine colonoscopy. Following a right hemicolectomy, the surgeon and attending residents personally told me that everyone in the OR suite was very surprised that he "picked this up". It's out and because of his early detection, nothing spread beyond the lesion site. Not just my word, but comments from numerous surgical oncologists at highly rated hospitals. I'm sending everyone I know to use him for their colonoscopies. Not to mention he one of the nicest and most humble specialist I have ever met.

Dr. Shukla is the most caring person I ever met. I would say he is tops in my world right now. Very knowlegdeable and his staff is amazing. I felt I was never alone when Dr. Shukla was caring for me.

Dr Shukla diagnosed my father and helped him find the right medications to make him feel better after a long and painful experience

After making an appointment for follow up from a hospital stay. I was turned away because my insurance wouldn't cover the visit. Dr. Shukla's billing while I was in the hospital was more than the surgeon's that saved my life. Now he is demanding payment from me for charges in excess of $12,000 that the insurance company won't pay. Interestingly I have no memory of ever seeing this doctor.
