Dr. Nilufer Bozdemir Norsworthy, MD

dr. Norsworthy treatments strongly NOT recommended !!!! My father was scheduled to see his surgeon and somehow she managed to get him to see her reasoning unexplained. My Father’s wound. was completely healed until she got to it she reopened it and scraped it dug into it unauthorized to do so as it was completely healed from the inside out. He is now experiencing stinky drainage he has become unstable, his leg is totally swollen. I’ll also have you know she never has given answers to some questions for full understanding she can be very short and not very compassionate actually quite rude at times!! Please refrain from going to this Dr. for wound care or for anything if possible!! Your very life may be on the line!!

This review is specifically for Dr. Norsworthy (not NWH wound care). This physician did not take anytime to explain or answer any questions. When I did ask 1 question, Dr. Norsworthy said "if you don't give us total control over your wound care we can't treat you." and subsequently left the treatment room. I was actually in shock and disbelief and not sure what had just happened. I'm a healthcare provider myself with 10+ years of experience and I would not recommend Dr. Norsworthy. Lack of communication and poor bedside manner. I would not trust this provider with my care. The RN was in the room when this interaction happened and told me that if I wanted to come back there were other providers in the office. One star for showing up to work.

Dr Norsworthy has a way of talking down to patients and frowning at poor patient outcomes as if it is the fault of the patient. The fault lies with a lack of clear directions to the patient with specific metrics. If you can find would care with another doctor, I’d advise not using the patronizing care of Dr. Norsworthy.

Excellent knowledge of wounds and various options for care. Very nice, friendly and competent.
