In short: Dr. Patel is an example that EVERY doctor should model themselves on. If you have a health issue in the areas he specializes in, go see him! Details: I had been suffering from chronic and constant sciatica pain and of all its victims was my sleep. Therefore, I was not able to exercise, work, spend time with the family and was gaining weight. All of this compounded the problem and was like an avalanche effect. That was not the worst part! It was that after multiple MRIs, tons of medicines and therapies later, neither could other Doctors cure it nor find a surgical solution. For more than 2 years! Dr. Patel was a God sent. He expertly honed in on the issue and proposed a solution. His superior level competence was evident from the beginning but it was the way in which he went above and beyond in his bedside manner to instill confidence in me about the whole deal was key. I had no doubt that I will be able to put this behind me and that is exactly what happened! He and… his staff followed through with everything including working with insurance and post-op consultation and have been terrific. Melba, his PA deserves a special mention as well - she is truly an angel!

My husband and I are both in healthcare so we are very picky when it comes to providers and their staff. Dr. Patel and his entire team are outstanding, they surpassed all of our expectations. He is kind, has an incredible bedside manner, takes the time to explain exactly what is going on and options to fix it. He is not surgery happy and will try everything else first. I did end up needing surgery and he walked me through my fears and answered all of our questions. Not once did I feel rushed or like just another patient on his schedule. While at the hospital every staff member I encountered told me how amazing he is and how I was in the best hands. It is so reassuring to hear that from nurses because they spend the most time interacting with the doctors. For something so scary I had a wonderful experience and feel great.

I am very impressed with Dr. Patel and the staff at Methodist Hospital for Surgery at Addison. My wife had underwent a three-level cervical fusion. We were nervous at first because we heard about some of the post-surgery recovery could be a little rough the first three days, but Dr. Patel had exceeded all of our expectations. Even when I’m looking at my wife’s neck I can barely see the area where he did the incision, and the pain that she had endured all these years have been completely gone. We are so happy to have chosen Dr. Patel to treat my wife.

I came to Dr. Patel after visiting with two other surgeons who told me I needed a fusion. Dr. Patel had another approach that was not as invasive and it worked better than I ever thought I could feel. I am so glad I did not get the fusion.. thank you Dr. Patel!

Great job at relieving my 50 yrs of sciatic leg and hip pain. Day surgery and home by noon. Very patient friendly with a great bedside manner. Voted #1.

After 50 years of sciatic leg and right hip pain Dr. Patel removed all this in day surgery. He is truly a great physician who actually cares and has a great bedside manor. I highly recommend him for anyone needing help. Mark George

Dr. Patel is a miracle worker! Every day, for months, I was crying in pain, taking 30 mins to slide out of bed to the floor, then painstaking working my way to a standing position, just to start the Jenga game of pain that was my day. Dr. Patel took 45 minutes on a day surgery to fix my L5 disc, which looked like it had exploded on the MRI, and after TWO days I stopped taking all pain meds! That was Feb 2018. I haven’t had any problems since! See him TODAY!!!

Dr. Nimesh Patel fixed another Dr mistake. He made a correct dynastic of what was causing my heart pains. He came up game plan with no promises made. He follow through 100% now I feel 150% better. I give him 5 Star rating
