I am a practicing podiatric physician of 15 years. I am board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. I received my Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in 1993, which is now known as the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. My post doctoral training included a 2 year podiatric surgical residency program with one year in Detroit, Michigan and another year in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During this time, I also spent time in Switzerland at Swiss AO International School for internal fixation.
I am currently on active staff at St. Luke%u2019s Hospital and Health Networks in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Easton Hospital in Easton, Pennsylvania. My practice is diverse from foot and ankle surgery for all ages, with an emphasis on athletic injuries, foot/ankle surgery and advanced wound healing techniques (LEAP-lower extremity amputation prevention) for patients with diabetes and peripheral vascular disease. I am, also, a preceptor in a PSR-36 teaching program at St. Luke%u2019s Hospital in Allentown for the past 6 years.
I continue to stay current in new concepts of wound care and podiatric surgery by not only attending CME seminars, but also through training at educational facilities provided by medical/surgical companies; including Organogenesis, Stryker, Smith & Nephew, and Depuy.
