Dr. Nina Marie Grabon

Went to office visit not knowing what to expect, I was taken into a exam room within a reasonable time. Ms. Grabon adequately explained my situation and offered a treatment plan. Have had better bedside manner experience. When I agreed to a catheter she brought in a nurse who performed the procedure. Nurse seemed competent and performed the insertion. This is where the visit went from acceptable to unacceptable. I was unprepared for the visit outcome and was being given a great deal of information and instruction by the nurse. I was not given any written instruction when I left the office. When I got home I was experiencing considerable blood in my urine. I called the office and left a message after taking with a receptionist. After several hours a “nurse” called me and we discussed. Should a patient expect a follow-up? After a couple of days I called again regarding no change with the blood. Did receive a call back and I initiated action based on that call. Things are… going well now, but nobody has ever called regarding how I am doing. Hence my title of “It is what it is”.. I have felt that I am alone in the process.
