Dr. Nina L Levenda, MD

The worst most unprofessional doctor I've ever had the displeasure of working with. I saw her many years ago when I found out that I was expecting my first child. I had seen her as a young adult for female check ups and birth control. She is disgusted by patients that are larger in size or overweight. She treated me like trash when I attended my first pregnancy appointment. Shamed me for my weight and the fact that I had the nerve to get pregnant. I switched providers after that appointment and never dealt with her again. Until last weekend. My husband and I found out that we were having a miscarriage at 20 weeks and needed to deliver the baby even though he had passed. After having 3 healthy pregnancies and babies this was a shock. We have never suffered a pregnancy loss before. I worked with the overnight physician on call who took great care of me and quickly put a plan together while respecting my wishes. Unfortunately Dr. Levenda was the on call doctor that took over my case the… following morning. It was very clearly marked on my hospital door that we were suffering a miscarriage. Yet she walked in my room and in a chipper tone says, "who's ready to deliver a baby today?!" We were appalled. She then goes on to undo my entire treatment plan that I requested so we "didn't rush anything". After a few hours she comes in and yanks out a balloon that I had in to help with dilation. I started bleeding heavily after that and the bleeding persisted the rest of the day. I kept telling the nurse I was loosing too much blood and that I was really scared. My nurse had to drag the Dr back in the room for her to even check on me. She never once acknowledged me as the patient. Never bothered to speak to me directly just talked about me to the nurses. We had to do a DNC procedure after I delivered the baby. I refrained from addressing my issues with her directly because i felt my life was already in danger and i was fearful she would further retaliate against me. She didn't explain anything about the procedure, the risks, or anything. I felt completely on my own (except for my nurses) I was told there were no other doctors that could take my case as she was the provider on call for the weekend. I honestly feel that if it hadn't been for the 2 amazing nurses that cared for me, I'm not sure I would have made it out of there alive. I lost way more blood than necessary and was not treated like a human being. She never reassured me that we would get through this, never apologized that we were experiencing loss. My nurses saved my life, and I can only hope that no other mother has to experience this the way I did. Dr. Levenda should not be handling cases like mine until she learns compassion and understanding for the women she responsible for serving. It's clear that she does not understand the impact that a doctor has on patients, or she simply does not care.

Extremely compassionate. Straightforward. She won't beat around the bush and will approach a difficult conversation so you can make educated and informed decisions on your overall health. Amazing when planning your delivery. Takes all the time you need when it is your turn to be seen. Wears a smile all the time! Blessed to have her as my doctor.

I absolutely love Nina!! She is down to earth and cares about her patients! She is the best doctor in this area!

Did a wonderful job for my third pregnancy with her. With my fourth pregnancy she constantly pushed me to get my tubes tied. She also dropped the f bomb during my visits bc of how big my baby was. I went to dr appointments and saw the nurse practionwr more than I saw her.

A very educated doctor,who takes time with her patients,very prompt and caring bedside manner,will recommend her to my friends and patient,was there for me when i needed her most...God bless you Dr.Nina Park.

Dr. Park delivered our son two years ago. After a long and difficult pregnancy it was time to induce labor. After an extended labor it was decided that he could not be delivered normally due to medical concerns (4'11 mommy, and a BIG BABY) Dr. Park accurately assessed the situation, promptly made the call and shortly thereafter we had a son. She has been as personable as she has been professional. You could not ask for anything more.
