Dr. Paonessa is the best Doctor I have ever seen for any treatment. She treated me for a Fistula and performed two procedures that were performed flawlessly. I was explained each procedure in detail by Dr. Paonessa prior to each of my surgeries. Dr. Paonessa personally called me after each procedure to ensure that I was comfortable and all went well. You cannot find many Doctors on this planet that care as much as she does about her patients.

Doctor Paonessa is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever encountered. She has a warm and caring way with all her patients. Her excellent social skills are second nature to her,and each patient leaves her with a full understanding of their condition,and the remedy of same. After treatment she spends a generous time to appraise you of your progress in the recovery mode. I highly reccomend Dr.Paonessa to everyone. !

My name is Robert Burns just so you know it is me Nina , Whoever did not give her 5 Stars is mind boggling she is by far the best Surgeon you can find and few could have done what she did for me and I will explain my condition to the best of my ability. I had advanced Diverticulitis and needed surgery or I would die , the day before I was scheduled with a General Surgeon I began my research (last day I had) and found her , she was no accident and I begged for the receptionist to give me an appointment that day. She did and I met with Nina who is just so personable and she explained to me what needed to be done , rather then just operate on me now she told me she wanted to give me "super drugs" to clear out the infection before she operated to reduce my chances of having a colostomy bag and maybe complications. The infection cleared around this giant mass I had and she performed a Seven hour Surgery . nine hours … where she had to move my bladder back to position because the… mass had grown so large .. it was supposed to be 4 Hours …. it was 7. She did it all using Laparoscopy so to this day I have a very little scar .. I woke up with (no bags) .. I did not leak and become septic at the time a normal Doctor has a 6% chance of you becoming Septic I believe Nina told me she was 3% because she told me the dangers before surgery .. it was scary for me obviously and I am not the easiest person to deal with sometimes. I share Nina with others , without Nina I would be dead, you are the best Nina from every standpoint , if you need a miracle I am living proof of it , thank you Nina I grew close with you over that Month and I will never forget you … I will forever be thankful for what you did for me. My insurance company never paid her and I mentioned it to her and she said 'do not worry about that" … she cares about you , about what she does, about being the best , she defines the word excellence. I weigh 180 lbs not Nina and am in amazing shape .. thank you so much for saving my life.

I just want the world to know Dr Nina Paonessa is hands down the best surgeon in the world! She has gone above and beyond her duties as a Doctor/Surgeon time and time again. She is the reason I am still alive, she has helped me recovery physically, mentally and deal with the stress of medical bills 2 years after my surgery from place that don't even pertain to her practice. She is the most wonderful woman on the planet and I wish she could be my regular Doctor and not just my surgeon.

I have never seen a doctor who has spent as much time with me or who has been as understanding and compassionate. Her office staff is also wonderful and has always found time for her to see me the same day it was requested. The doctor answers phone calls almost immediately and never makes you feel that you are wasting her time. I only wish that more doctors followed her philosophy.

I first met Dr. Nina Paonessa about a month ago she was referred to me by my primary care. I needed a Colonoscopy for the first time. My experience from the moment I walked into Dr. Nina's office to when I left Centrastate hospital yesterday was nothing short of FANTASTIC. She made special accommodations for me since i recently relocated with my job. My personal experience from her office staff to the nurses in the hospital and my over all experience was outstanding. Thank you Dr. Nina and staff for making it so easy and comfortable for me.

Dr. Paonessa was a very kind, caring, and educated I felt....she even referred me to another doctor cause she knew they would be better for what I needed to accomplish in my healthcare needs
