Dr. Nir M. Goldstein, MD

I had to drive 28 miles to see Dr. Goldstein. I would have driven 128. I came to him last year with a lung cancer scare. His calm friendly demeanor and command of science based medicine reassured me. His supervision of my case eventually led to a confirmed diagnosis of non-critical lung sarcoidosis, which he had initially told me he suspected. His expert knowledge corrected a hospital’s improper scan and a surgeon’s ill-advised recommendation. He did not milk my stay in the hospital as so many white coats with stethoscopes do. His office is efficient but rightly expects to get paid (which would be a value at twice the cost). His nurse/technician Daimy is a joy. Dr. Goldstein studied at Washington University (St Louis). Some call it the Harvard of the Mid-West. But if all their doctors are as good as Dr Goldstein, then they should call Harvard the Washington University of the East.

Very competent & pleasant physician

The registration person was very helpful. She gave me the price up front and suggested I wait on a few procedures that weren't as necessary at the time. The communication did not get to the doctor though. I was later billed for procedures I did not know weren't a part of what needed to be done. I also have called 5 times; twice I was able to leave a message, but no one has called me back yet (been a week); two other times I called during business hours but heard a message telling me to call back during office hours. No follow through!
