I have considerable experience with psychiatrists, and have found Dr. Lorant's knowledge and provision of care to be exceptional. His staff were friendly and courteous as well. I highly recommend him!

I've been seeing Dr. Lorant on and off for over 25 years now, mainly for medication management, and can honestly say that he's only gotten better at a discipline that he was great at even back then. His caring and compassion are only outshined by his vast knowledge of all things psychiatric. If you're looking for a psychiatrist, you can't do much better than Dr. Lorant.

Dr. Loran's is very likable. He helped with my intensely disabling issues educating with empathy making me feel supported, understood and giving me hope. I feel empowered under his care. He is a very, very caring brilliant psychiatrist. I totally trust him.

He has been treating my family for over 10years he is no nonsense and that is what we like about him. He is terrific and SLO is very fortunate to have him and his wonderful receptionist Pamela.

I really appreciate the time Dr Lorant spent with me and now he has a therapist in his office to handle the heavy work load who is also very knowlegable and kind. I appreciate the time these men take to help me with my affliction.

I first saw Dr. Lorant 17 years ago, when I was very sick and no one else could seem to find out what was wrong with me. With one visit to Dr. Lorant, he knew what was wrong and has been working with me for the past 17 years to keep me able to function. The man absolutly saved my life!
