Very friendly, listened to my problems after I was referred to him by a friend for my shoulder pain. Told me an MRI would be necessary to look at my labrum and rotator cuff. Explained the possibilities of the MRI and what the plan would be for different scenarios to resolve my shoulder pain. I feel very confident with Dr. Shah in my corner.

I injured my shoulder at work and I saw Dr. Shah after a referral from neighbor. He was great and his office staff was great. I received great medical care, got rid of my pain and his office took care of paperwork for me as well. He is a great surgeon and truly cares about how I recovered and his work is perfect. Had surgery with Dr. Shah after a nasty basketball knee injury left me with a torn ACL and menisus. I heard from other friends and family very positive things about Dr. Shah demeanor, skills and overall very good reviews. He has been great. Spent a lot of time with me before surgery, explained the surgery, gave me different options for the graft that he would use to reconstruct my knee. In the end I settled on using my own hamstring tendon to reconstruct my ACL and I am glad I went with that option. I was able to weight on the leg immediately after surgery, a little bit of pain for a few days, but nothing extraordinary, started rehab right away and Dr. Shah had a very detailed protocol for me to use at home and with the therapist and I am doing awesome. Other people at the Athletico therapy place in Chicago that I go to are amazed at how quickly I am progressing. On the day of my surgery, I also found out from the nurses in the surgery center that they all say Dr. Shah is amazing… and the best surgeon there - he had four other ACL surgeries that day! I am really glad I was referred to him, and am working hard to get back on the basket ball court. Also I think the office nice clean busy and plenty of helpful people that work there along with Dr. Shah. I found out in addition to knee problems Dr. Shah also fixes shoulder problems so I referred my mom to him who has bad arthritis in her shoulder and she is scheduling her shoulder replacement with him, she was equally impressed and she's a tough cookie!
