Dr. Nirish Sureshkumar Shah, MD

Dr. Shah was very polite and actually did call me back once. However, his MEDICAL ASSISTANT should get another job and not be in profession where she deals with the public. I have tried for 2 weeks to get her to fax a prescription and answer questions about a test result I was emailed. She has yet to address my question on what the test meant that was emailed to me. She said a prescription was faxed last week and I followed up to get it and it has never been faxed. This is unacceptable. She simply sends me an email that the doctor will not be in again for the 2nd week in a row. He is very nice but I do want my prescription to stop this disease and know what the test results mean that was emailed to me. I wish I could talk with him. Very upset as this is my health and my life at stake.

I had excellent care by Dr. Shah who helped me by identifying and treating underlying cause of my long standing swallowing difficulty.

I am not happy with the lack of patient/customer focus that Dr. Nirish Shah has represented to me. I called twice to ask to speak to him about my results and was told today that he sent a letter. Sending a letter does not soften the blow of an abrupt letter with pathology results as it leaves the patient with many questions that a polite phone call would have alleviated. I come from a whole family of physicians and I KNOW they do not ignore their patients as I feel that I have been ignored by Dr. Shah. His lack of patient concern is inexcusable. Even though the rest of your staff, nurses, etc. are outstanding and caring, this is not the case with Dr. Shah.

I went to Mr.Shah due to medical issues. I said on my papers I did not want anyone to be told about what may be wrong. They revealed information to my family anyway. Also, when they were suppose to call me back to set up an appointment no one called. After me calling an setting up a new appointment. When I came in to see the doctor the doctor did apologized when I told him what happened. I set up another appointment for another test. After having that test done the office was suppose to call me to give me the lab results. I received no call. I found out about the infection I had by the pharmacy calling me telling me I had some antibiotics ready. I then still did not receive a call until a week in a half later(after hearing from the pharmacy). The lady asked if I got my antibiotics. I replied"No, I was not told I needed any." She then replied with "That's why I am calling you now, to make sure you get the antibiotic.Your test results show an infection" The doctor I was great, his… staff no so much. They seem to not want to do their job. I was told they would call me with the follow up testing I still have not heard from them about that and it has been 2 months. The doctor however was very sweet and explained answers to any questions I had. I recommend the doctor and some of his staff but the ones handling calling patients I do not recommend.
