Dr. Nirjaleshwar Kumar Nikhar, MD

Dr. Nikhar is an excellent doctor. I've been seeing him for a rare disease for almost 6 years. I can no longer speak and he's always very patient and attentive to giving me time to type out my questions on a speech app. He's also always quick to respond to questions I ask him through their portal. The office staff is friendly and efficient.

I had very bad experience with doctor Nikhar. In my visit I didn't see him at all.Came nurse asked me questions and after that going to another room to tel him what I said .After couple times to walk back forward he prescribe me Tylenol I sad it's not help me from my headache, she told try and i will see you after 10 days. I was very very disappointed.

I was referred to Dr. Nikhar and was seen once so far. He seemed nice and attentive and his PA was nice, too. But a front staff who deals with appointments is very unfriendly and arrogant. I made an appointment for a test but my condition got so much worse so I called in to move it earlier. Although my condition was so bad, I doubt she communicated with Dr. Nikhar. I was on a waiting list. A cancellation came up but she dealt with it badly and I still didn't get it. I am always able to communicate with other doctors about conditions (I have a chronic condition). But I still don't know how I can communicate with Dr. Nikhar when a rapid change happens. The front staff does not seem to have any interests in helping patients. It is frustrating.

Dr. Nikhar is the best doctor I have ever dealt with. He is thorough and genuinely cares for his patients. There are just some medical teams that seem to not show real interest in helping their patients but Dr. Nikhar is definitely not one of those and truly wants to help you. He is also honest and straight forward. His staff are friendly and professional. They are very nice and always seem they want to work with you and your schedule. Dr. Nikhar does have a wait list and I can definitely see why! Dr. Nikhar was highly referred by my internist and I'm glad I was able to see him.

Office staff had poor English. Very long wait time. I was unhappy with my total experience. Neurologist was very average in treating my migraines and back pain

I have seen Dr. Nikar many times and he is consistently competent and compasionate. He listens, explains and talks. He is on target and thinks about the "whole" person and how to best support that person live the best life.

I went to see Dr. Nikhar for a second opinion. He reviewed all the material and took a fresh, unbiased look at my records. The exam was thorough. He spent as much time as was necessary to diagnose me. He explained clearly what he found and his prognosis. He made sure I understood my medical situation. I would highly recommend him.
