Dr. Nirmaljit Dhami, MD

Unethical, unemphatic, prejudiced, lazy, incompetent. She has a twisted vision of "saving" patients and acting like a hero. The most disgusting example of a medical provider.

I went to see Dr Dhami today and she was very caring, validating and knowledgeable. She genuinely cares for her patients and has great expertise in postpartum psychosis. She returned my phone call the same day. I was very impressed with my appointment with her. She gives you her full attention during appointment and pays attention to what you have to say! She has been the best psychiatrist I have ever met with!

She cares for the patient and also support the family members. She doesn't mind going little extra for her patients. Thank you Dr.Dhami.

Dr Dhami has a wealth of knowledge about postpartum issues . She spent time listening to me and my family and was able to diagnose and treat me effectively . Her practice is closed to new patients , therefore it was difficult to get a new patient appointment .

Dr Dhami helped me during my 3 hospital admissions, She managed my medications effectively and educated me about my symptoms.

I had my spouse in El Camino hospital for an emergency and she did not get in contact her primary physician or her therapist whom she has been with and probably knows her as well if not more than myself. Advised me to go to Alanon which I already have attended and wanted to hold her there for two weeks and would not have gotten the treatment the doctor recomended. Prescribed medication with out consulting her primary physician is very dangerous, arrogant and unprofessional.

Incredibly difficult to get a hold of. Constantly would make promises and commitments with little or no follow-through. Absolutely the worst experience I've had with a psychiatrist out of the the dozen or so I've seen. She has currently enrolled me into a program without proper explanation, and mislead me to agreeing to this program (signing papers and everything... which I DID read!)and it didn't apply to me or my situation. Many in this program had the same or worse to say about her.
