Dr. Nirvana A Manning, MD

Everything else was fine, however, Dr. Manning did not review my test results and missed the positive 1 hour glucose test results and never notified me until it was too late. As a result of that, I was not aware of gestational diabetes and my baby had to be delivered at several weeks early through emergency C-section weighing 10 pounds.

Dr. Manning was completely competent, answering all of my questions and addressing all of my concerns. She performed a beautiful, easy delivery, and I am returning for my next pregnancy, no question.

Dr. Manning was not my intended delivery room doctor however she was pulled in. I spoke to her about 10 seconds and was only able to see her eyes because she came in ready with mask on. One thing that caught my attention was that she had kind eyes and was able to put me at ease quickly and I thought she is going to be my next OB-GYN. Eleven years later she is not only my OB-GYN but a friend. She makes you feel like you are her only patient when you see her.

My first experience with Dr. Manning was for a first trimester ultrasound to confirm my pregnancy. I was not prepared for there to be no heartbeat. I was devastated, and Dr. Manning cried with me and hugged me. She has been my OB through two more miscarriages and one baby and a so-far-successful pregnancy since. I trust her completely and would never see another OB. Besides being competent she is so incredibly caring, optimistic, personable, funny and real. She seems to be only a few years older than me with a young family of her own, so I feel like she can relate to me and my concerns in ways other OBs can't. I always feel good after leaving her office, and when you're pregnant / dealing with fertility issues, that's so important. Love her!

Dr. Manning is the most caring doctor and takes time to listen to and answer your questions or concerns. I will never have another OB!
