Dr. Nisha Chawla, MD

Dr. Chawla and PAJustin are compassionate, caring health professionals. Dr. Chawla listened to my concerns and was fully engaged in the conversations. She scheduled bloodwork and told me WHY she was doing the tests. Very thorough!

I was so impressed with Dr Chawla and the Clarkson Family Practice. This office was professional, responsive and on top of their game. Justin the PA was so great to talk to as well! Dr. Chawla and her staff listened to not only my medical history, but my husbands a few days before. I had to choose a new PCP after my previous PCP went with a different program that was unaffordable for my husband and myself. I was more than happy with Dr Chawla, and thank you for your wonderful medical service as a doctor to the community.

I WOULD have been a new patient. I called Friday, Nov 9th at 8:53 a.m to schedule an appt at the Clarkston office due to feeling like I have a sinus infection and having a 6 week old baby I dont want to spread it to. The woman I spoke with said because I am a new patient they couldn't get me in until Nov. 29th. I explained to her what was going on she said call Tuesday Nov 13th at 8:30 to schedule a same day (sick) appt which will be at 4 pm. I call Tuesday and make the appt and a woman calls me back twice the second time she tells me she has to cancel my appt because I am a new patient and she cant get me in until Dec 4th. I try to explain to her about my conversation on Friday and she only says "I wasnt here friday" doesnt talk to other staff members. Doesnt offer any solution but refuses to let me be seen. I tell her this is a terrible first impression and I will just look for a new primary she rudely says "good luck" I hang up. I was really hoping to find a good primary care… physician looks like I will have to go to urgent care I can feel my cold in my chest now and I tend to get chronic bronchitis. I will tell everyone I know and that asks to never go to this office. This was appalling.
