I’ve had G.I. issues for over 34 years in 5 different states and Dr. Patel is the best doctor I’ve ever seen. His knowledge of his specialty is unreal and he really truly cares for his patients.

Always great bedside manners. The office is on top of things about reminding you when tests or procedures are due.

I've been a recruiter for physicians for almost 11 years. I'm 68 years old and have lived in the DFW area for over 45 years. Over the years I have been treated by many physicians for different things, including a several procedures. Over the last year I have suffered with stomach problems and have seen 3 different Dr's including two Gastros. None of the 3 have made me feel like they could help me with my problem and each only spent a few minutes with me when they came up with their magical solutions. None of them worked. Today I tried a new physician, Dr Nishant Patel. He spent over 30 minutes with me asking dozens of questions to try and figure out what is causing my stomach problem. He came up with a game plan for the next 2 weeks and wanted me to call him at the end of two weeks to make sure it worked. In all the years I have seen different physicians and have worked with physicians, none have spent as much time with me trying to work out a solution to my health problem like Dr… Patel has. I STRONGLY recommend him to anyone that has a gastro concern.

I've been a patient at TDDC since 2003. First with Dr Cox and now with Dr. Patel. The switch to Dr Patel when Dr Cox retired was done very well. Dr Patel met with me twice before Dr Cox left and made me feel comfortable that I'd continue to receive great care. When you are working with Dr Patel you are getting a team at TDDC. When you call Dr Patel you will always get a call back from a nurse to discuss your condition quickly. Usually within a few hours you'll have a answer to your question. If you need to get in quickly, you might not be able to see Dr Patel. They have NPs and a PA that will see you and coordinate your care with Dr Patel. Overall an excellent set up for great care.

I am very thankful to have Dr. Nishant Patel as my gastroenterologist. He is thorough and makes sure any concern is addressed until resolved. I don't feel rushed when I see him, he listens and I feel comfortable when we discuss symptoms. I have and will recommend him . Great doctor!
