Dr. Nita K Shah, MD

The best doctor. Extremely caring and sympathetic to my condition. Gives me hope on fixing my health to at least a better outcome than my current state and encourages me to take control of my health so that I'm not making my condition worse. I enjoy every office visit and am ecstatic when I get to see her on dialysis rounds.

Dr shah is extremely unprofessional and rude. She doesn’t care about her patients nor does she want to communicate with them

Been a patient and was referred to her right out of pediatrics. 21-28. Great person but accountability in the office, none. Receptionists never know how to do their jobs. No beside manor and I will mention TRINA bc she’s never kind. It’s forced and when you try to make her accountable, she always has an excuse as to why she has to go to Dr. Shah first in order to do something. Does not sound right to me. This is the only office this ever happens. And it’s a SPECIALISTS OFFICE. Also wouldn’t recommend her for young patients. She does not have a set plan for someone at a young age. Young adults with any type of major organ disease needs accountability. Dr. Shah does not have anything set for that. I am now 28 and feel like she has given up on me. No one calls to remind you about labs until the week before and also wants labs months in advance and only being seen every three months. There should be more for kidney disease. I will also not get into how if she does not see me I cannot get… my prescriptions. But I can’t miss any. I am no longer being seen by her as of recently. Which is really sad bc I was recently in the hospital and now have tot find a new dr. She made me feel as though I knew I was not on top of my health as being diagnosed right out of high school, what young adult will not slip? That’s all I want to know? Adults are still learning to take care of themselves and I feel like I was making progress but I can’t get past not being sick in her care. she will now put all the responsibilities on me and take no accountability as a Dr herself or for anyone in the office.

Will continue to visit this lady until she retires. Will not consider going to another doctor for kidney problems.

Dr Nita Shah is the best Doctor I have ever had. I have been her patient for about 6 years. From our very first appointment she has been very professional. She took the time to explain everything to me. I am so grateful to her. I wish all of my Doctors were as good as she is.

Detail oriented, caring, goes above n beyond...

Misdiagnosed a Rejection. Still refuses to admit her negligence. She shouldn't be practicing, seems like an 9-5 doctor only. Goes home & doesn't bother to check on patients .

A physician that is truely committed to her patients and craft. Superior medical and a genuine care and respect of her patients.

We met Dr. Shah initially when she was covering for my father's primary nephrologist. We got to know her over the course of my father's illness. She is a caring, compassionate provider who was always available when we needed advice. She returned phone calls and spent time listening to us. I would highly recommend Dr. Shah.

Very competent and also COMPASSIONATE and WARM. Took outstanding care of my mom.
