Dr. Nitin Khanna, MD

I was very satisfied with the staff and dr that I came into contact today! They were very respectful and understanding of the situation. They also helped with work restrictions to help maintain minimal strains. The dr had a good bedside manner and was very informative with results that were shown.

I have been having lower back pain since I was hurt at work over 20 years ago, but then pain started to radiate to my left hip and I noticed my self walking differently and having difficulty walking as well. I thought it was my hip. After MRI Dr Khanna found it was my L3 & L4 bone on bone and my spine cured because of it! I am waiting on surgery but he made me feel confident and comfortable with his decision. Dr. Khanna, he is very professional, knowledgeable, and insightful and cares for his patients. Thank God my coworkers recommended him!

I visited with Dr. Khanna after being referred by physician. I visited for back pain that would radiate down the back of my left leg. Although my pain improved over time, there was diagnostic work done to find the root cause. Upon visiting Dr. Khanna, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and insightful. He shows a passion for what he does and looks for patients to recover. Given that I'm in little to almost no pain at this time and the noting of my condition, if the pain ever starts to worsen in time I know I can call his office and be in good hands.

If there were 10 stars to give Dr. Khanna and his nurse Denise they would be given the highest honor. I recently underwent a complex procedure to remove a two-level disc replacement from my neck and perform a cervical fusion. From start to finish, the care was world-class. Dr. Khanna is a phenomenal surgeon, and Denise ensured I was well-informed and comfortable throughout the entire process. My surgery was done at: Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery. This Center is so clean and professional! I was seen right on time and the facility is top notch. If you’re looking for a team you can trust with your spine health, this is it. I am so grateful for the excellent job they did!!!

Dr. Khanna is a step above others in his profession. He is kind and actually takes the time to spend with his patients. I never felt like just a number with him.

I recently had a spinal fusion of L4-5. I also had surgery with Dr Khanna nearly 20 years ago for a herniated disc and spinal fusion L5-S1. Dr Khanna is one of the most talented spine surgeons that I would not trust anyone else. He literally has given me my life back on more than one occasion. He is kind, compassionate, and truly cares for his patients. I am grateful to Dr Khanna and his nurse Denise for their excellent care! They set the standard for the doctor patient relationship!

About 15 years ago Dr. Khanna did a cervical fusion on me and I wish I had written a review then, but I didn't. Recently he did another fusion on me as part of a much more involved surgery and this time I'm compelled to write. Along with being a brilliant surgeon, he's also all the things one would expect in a doctor; patient, compassionate, kind, and competently cautious. Here's what makes him stand out above so many doctors and surgeons...he's really human. He cares and approaches patients as people because his own humanity is so clearly present. He really listens, and it appears it's just part of his fabric as a human being--he deeply cares for his patients. My recent surgery was required due to a serious fall. Beyond the E.R. care, other tests were delayed due to insurance approval. By the time I saw him he looked at my MRI and said the injury required immediate surgery. He booked me for the next day! I told him my insurance company would squawk at any non-preapproved… procedure--I was really worried. He responded by saying he'd deal with them after the fact, this couldn't wait. Less than 24 hours later I was in surgery. What other doctor would advocate for a patient after the fact and risk the insurance challenges because to him the patient came first? In my 60+ years, only Dr. Khanna has done this. I'm convinced that if he could have avoided surgery in lieu of physical therapy or another avenue he would have. I trust in that completely, which made the rush to surgery all the more remarkable to me; I had no doubts that day it was the only possible path. He doesn't work alone, and I'd be remiss not to mention his remarkable Physician's Assistant Michael, who was every bit as kind and caring as he is, and his coordinating nurse Denise who navigated the insurance headaches, the fast surgical schedule, my meds, visits, etc., with such professionalism and loving compassion that it just overwhelmed me. There were likely others, but this team of three saved me from being a paraplegic; they changed the trajectory of my life. For all this and so many more reasons, this doctor and his team will always be in my heart. I'm forever in their debt--one human to a group of others.

1st thankful to God in all things. After 7 years of injections and 1 operation involving 3 different doctors. I thank almighty God I was introduced to Dr. Nitin Khanna! I was at first optimistic by his words of assurance and confidence he would be able to help relieve the constant pain and tossing and turning getting no sleep just miserable life. Dr. Khanna after looking at my MRI and hearing what I had been through told me Mr. Rios " I am going to get rid of the pain you have been going through." As one can imagine I am your average Joe and I was telling myself I heard this before. Dr. Nitin it's only been 2 weeks since your operation on my lower lumbar back. You have been a man of your word. I saw you yesterday all I can say is the pain is gone! I can't thank you enough in words other than I pray God's amazing grace in your life. He has blessed you with healing hands. I am resting and following your instructions to heal completely. I feel this good after 2 weeks I can only imagine… how I am going to feel when I see you next scheduled visit.
