Dr. Niveditha Meghadri, MD

Very bad experience. She really doesn’t give u medicine unless u schedule monthly meeting with her so that u pay her fee and then presevribe you medicine. My husband is going through so much anxiety but she doesn’t care to respond to phone calls or voicemails to refill the prescription.

Have been a patient for four years and they have progressively gotten worse. Highly agree with last several reviews so I wanted to share my own experience to help people who are thinking about coming here, Unprofessional, uncaring staff. (Specifically Barb) Should really consider finding different staff that is more sensitive to the type of patients coming to this clinic. If we weren’t sick we wouldn’t be coming here. They do not call to remind you that you have an appointment, and they do not call you if you miss one. The condition I am going to THIS doctor for includes a lot of forgetfulness and disorganization so I have unfortunately missed an appointment here and there when I have had a lot of stress going on. My appointments always run late, I usually spend 45 minutes waiting to see the doctor for no more than a 15 minute rushed appointment. Try to schedule less people in one day so the doctor could spend more time with patients please. She does not ask many questions and I have a… hard time verbalizing what is going on sometimes, a professional should know better. On one occasion I was speaking with the doctor about an acute situation & one of her staff walked in the room without knocking to hurry up the appointment because someone else was waiting. I was with the dr for no more than 12 minutes when this happened discussing the severity of my condition and how bad it had gotten. I left in tears. Other people may not have handled that as well. Also, They are HORRIBLE when it comes to needing a prescription filled. Has happened to me more than once unfortunately. When I call for a refill, they are very vague as to whether or not this is being taken care of. They say they will leave the doctor a message and that she will call from a blocked number. I do not answer blocked calls because I receive many a day and they are spam calls and had my phone number stolen from answering a blocked call, but I kept my eye out on this particular day. I received a message from the doctor because she called when I was in the shower, go figure. She did not even leave me a call back number so I could get in touch with her. I called the office back and was basically scolded by Barb for not having my phone on me when the doctor called. What if I was driving? What am I supposed to do, glue my phone to my ear? I do not like calling and dealing with this woman because she always speaks in a condescending, vague manner and makes me feel terrible almost every time I call. I have gone without my medication on more than one occasion due to the negligence of her staff and how difficult the doctor makes getting in touch with her. Pretty sure the medication she put me on has made me worse than ever before, have vocalized this several times and have not had any changes made or suggested except for increases. This medication has made me sick. They are not very on-top of their game here, they never ask for blood work or MRI testing to make sure everything is okay. They never even called me like I was promised to let me know when I could come in for an available appointment when they were aware of how bad my condition has gotten. Thankfully I begin seeing a new doctor this week and I pray that my mental health finally starts to see an improvement, for the first time in 5 years.

Highly insensitive and uncaring staff , we have no idea why she still keeps them. Only for that reason I would not recommend her to anyone, please find a better practice ! We finally changed to a far better option..

I just wanted to support the previous reviewer in terrible bedside manners. We like the doctor but she needs to manage her office staff well. You cannot get hold of her for prescriptions or emergencies. There is absolutely no softness or patience in her staff ESP. considering they are dealing with mentally stressed patients. And even in acute cases the staff will not let her meet the patients for more than 15 mins.

After seeing this "professional" for two years, she still doesn't even remember my name. She doesn't remember much else, either. I once went two weeks without medications because I couldn't get a hold of her and neither could my pharmacy. Absolutely horrendous. All the good reviews I've read must be outdated.

Dr. Meghadri is a kind, understanding, helpful, caring person before she is a psychiatrist. I can't say enough about this woman. She knows her craft inside and out and is concerned about my welfare and life situations. Waiting time is usually pretty short, and the doctor's staff is lovely and caring. My only gripe is that there is no courtesy call to remind me of an upcoming appointment and, if the appointment is missed without notifying the office beforehand, there is a $35 charge. Long story short, I love Dr. Meghadri and recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Meghadri is very knowledgeable Psychiatrist. She is up to date with the Psychiatry field and is very helpful Doctor.In short, I recommend Dr.Meghadri HIGHLY.Thank you.

I have absolutely no complaints with Dr. M. She has treated me with respect and empathy since the day I walked into her office. Her caring, understanding and patience have made my recovery bearable.She is my angel.
