Ordering test for me all around my stomach and I went in for diarrhea, chills, sweat stomach pains. Urgent care referral because didn't have equipment to diagnose. Thinking it may be my appendix because of the area and tenderness. All thru triage no one listened to my stomach, ask me to pee in a cup check my stool...I'm not a doctor but chest x-ray??ANOTHER covid-19 test. Had to sit upright for almost 5 hours because they're waiting for a bed and still hadn't seen a the doctor. Was at the minthill ER location and decided to leave as I was severely thirsty, and uncomfortable for sitting so long. Thank goodness for Mychart. I know my blood levels are normal, no heart problems, lungs are normal and covid negative and I've lost 12 lbs in 3 days. I'm at home at least comfortable still in a lil pain. I'll be careful how I move and pop a pain pill to get me thru until I follow up with my doctor soon

I went to Presbyterian Matthews with a tick bite and some major symptoms. I first went to an urgent care who examined me and sent me immediately to the ER since I was hoarse and having trouble swallowing since the bite. In his report this Dr. did not mention the tick bite at all or did he do the blood test for Rocky Mountain Spotted fever or order the normal antibiotic, Doxycycline. He sent me home with a diagnosis of laryngitis and told me to dissolve carafate tablets in water before meals, really?

I visited the ER in Matthews. I was in the place from 8:42pm until around 12:30 or so. The long wait was to be expected. It is what it is. However the bed side manner of this butcher should really be reviewed. It was so bad that he had to have an intern walking around with him and keep a written record. I can only assume that this was due to 100s of complaints that people have filed. I do not go to the ER very often.... but that part was pretty shocking. Now on to this man's bed side manner. I have never felt more insultant or demeaned in all my life. Not only did i recieve any help for the condition I had been seeking help for which was a hemorrhoid with thrombosis. It had burst when i went to dinner resulting in a lot of blood and pain. This guy made me feel like i had no business going to the ER for bleeding from the rectal error. Sorry Doc but that troubles me to have blood running down my leg and covering the seat at dinner. It went on ... he gave… no help as to what to do to ease the pain. or stop the bleeding. Nothing. Stabbed it hard enough for me to leap from the bed with pain... then exclaimed oh look theres the blood clot. So he dug it out, and the bleeding started all over again. With no explaination no steps to treat it. "well you are just going to have to manage the bleeding how about a cold compress" Never have i had more of wasted event in a Doctor's Care. And now i can't wait for the 1300 bill i am assuming is coming in the mail. If you see this guy, opt for a web termial and access to Web MD. at least you can google the words you dont know. Avoid this Dr. Like the plague.
