Dr. Noel Munar Chamian, MD

Please be aware! Doctor Chamian is not competent. He failed my husband miserably as a GP. My 59 year old husband presented with text book case colon cancer symptoms. Chamian did not order scans for months. By then, my husband was at advanced stage. At his final appointment with Chamian, Chamian asked my very ill husband; if someone was poisoning him at home; or if he worked for the CIA or FBI. This was alarming. I demanded my husband switch doctors based on these disturbing remarks. Three days later, scans were ordered by my husband's new Dr. Diagnosis: stage 4, not curable, maybe treatable. I have reported Chamian to the medical board for failure to provide standard of care. Please be careful. Please. This man should not be practicing medicine.

How this doctor stays in business with the horrendous staff that he has working for him is beyond reason. They are rude and couldn't care less about providing patient care or actually treating their patients with dignity or respect. They have no sense of empathy or compassion where the patients are concerned and clearly are overworked. However, that doesn't mean that this has to be the means from which you treat people. Is it really that difficult to make a patient feel like they are being heard and that you are also taking a proactive role in their care. I've left multiple messages regarding a medication that required prior authorization from my insurance company, only to be told 2 weeks later that they finally sent the auth. I'm now out of the medicine and this is due to their negligence. Unfortunately, they don't want to take responsibility for the delay. Very convenient for them, but in the meantime, I don't have the medication and it can take up to a week to obtain it from the… pharmacy. When asked if they could provide samples to at the very least, resolve their mistake, I was answered in a manner that clearly showed that the staff on the other line didn't really care about my request and really just wanted to get off the phone, to the point where she starts arguing and shouting at me...the patient and of course she hangs up the phone. Now I understand why there are so many bad reviews regarding his staff. The doctor may be a good one (by Las Vegas standards...for what it's worth, but his front desk staff is deplorable!) If you need to find a new doctor I suggest you look elsewhere. They're in it for the money as evidenced by the number of bad reviews referencing extreme wait times (my last appointment there I waited 2 hours before seeing the doctor) and horrible staff. I guess I need to be to the point of dying to actually get assistance from them. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere and will no longer subject myself to this ridiculous medical practice, who clearly needs more practice where customer service is concerned. EDIT: This doctor had the audacity to call me and instead of resolving the situation or listening to me regarding the situation he essentially cut me off after makes a lame statement like we’ll send your records along to the next doctor. Just as I thought he doesn’t care about how his patients are treated. His staff can be as rude as they want to be and he will just “fire” you as a patient even if you are in the middle of a treatment program that you started with him. By the way, you can’t fire a patient who wasn’t going to go back to you anyway! No one needs that ridiculousness in their life! So negligent. Clearly he doesn’t care. BEWARE A DOCTOR WHO WOULD DO THIS AND ONE WHO HAS SUCH LOW RATINGS.

Dr N. Charmian is an excellent Dr. I was having some issues and they got me in immediately. He took me seriously and checked everything. He always takes the time to listen and ask if I have any questions. I highly recommend him.

The staff at the front desk are rude and lack empathy. They hid behind tinted glass and you can’t even see who is being so smug back there. I can always count on being here for about a hour. Every time I come in I have about a $100 balance but I only have a $20 co pay. If I was in for a prescription refill or coming back for blood work results always $100. The Dr is not so bad. He’s a nice guy but I don’t feel he always listens so well. Sometimes he’s just in a rush because the waiting room is full. I personally plan to find a new Dr. not because I don’t like this one but I do not like dealing with the rest of the people in his office.

Not once have I been seen on-time. My wait is at minimum 30 minutes. Then I’m just referred out to someone else. Guess I’ll use my extended wait time wisely and search for a new doctor.

His staff overbooks so wait times are LONG. My average weight times was 45 minutes with a scheduled appointment. He misdiagnosed my stomach erosion as hiatal hernia and was reluctant to refer me to a Gastroenterologist specialist. I had to see him at least 2 times before he referred me to a specialist. In the meantime I lost 10lbs as I couldn't eat much due to stomach discomfort. Once I saw the specialist my stomach disorder was correctly diagnosed and treated for. What really bothered me was that during my first visit regarding my stomach pain, he immediately diagnosed it as a hiatal hernia without examining me or running any kind of tests. After this experience I found a new primary care physician.

Dr. Chamian was referred to me by my co-worker after telling her how frustrated I was with previous doctors. I have been feeling weak for months. One doctor who gave me B12 shots but no effect. I went to a different doctor who told me that my hormones are imbalance so she gave me hormones which also did not work. When I went to Dr. Chamian, he ran a lot of test and he found out that I had lyme disease. He gave me antibiotics and now I am feeling great. The repeat blood test showed that it is gone. I now recommend Dr. Chamian to my friends and family.

I appreciated his knowledge base and his ability to analyze a situation and make a decision. He bases his decisions from tests and puts together the facts for his decision. I also like his personality; very professional. I like the office staff; they are very friendly.

Excellent Doctor that listens to you. Very thorough and understands your needs. I highly recommend Dr. Noel to anyone.

I waited 2 weeks to see Dr. Chamian, which i understand comes with the territory sometimes. After 3 minutes of basic questioning from Dr. Chamian he says he "doesn't like the way i look at him", he tells me he's not comfortable with me as a patient and that I need to find another doctor, stand up and walks out of the examination room leaving me there alone with no other explanation until several minutes pass and I finally leave. I've never been so dumbfounded nor ever experienced unprofessionalism on this level in all my years.
