Dr. Noel Serrano, MD

Dr. Serrano will account for his actions on that day. The neglectful ‘care’ he gave my mother violated grossly the Hippocratic oath. Forgiven, but will have to account at the great white judgement. I went through 2 YEARS of PTSD because of how he handled things; a real nightmare - — Disgraceful!!!

Aloft and dismissive

Dr. Serrano is professional and thorough. He seems very experienced and gives the patient the impression that he is caring. He never made me feel that he was hurrying with the appointments

When your appt is at 8 he is in the room at eight. An aawesome caring doctor.

Gave me all of 5 minutes (if that!) each time i saw him. He referred me to other people besides himself by our second appointment for any concerns i had. He prescribed me new birth control and I immediately began getting chest pains and shortness of breath from it. After about 2 weeks i called his office to ask for a call from him in regards to the pain, I was worried about blood clots. The receptionist put thru an emergency note to him for him to contact me right away about this, and at the end of the day I got a call from a different receptionist telling me that Dr. Serrano's directions were that it's just heart burn and to go ahead and keep taking the medicine daily...... Um. Really? I called back the next day to ask the doctor is there was some mistake, and if not would he be willing to put that in writing so that I know he was really telling me to discard chest pain without so much as speaking to me on the phone. His receptionist called me back and told me to get a lawyer if I… have any more questions. Maybe i should!

He will give you mere SECONDS in the exam room. He concentrates on the computer WAY more than the patient. He is VERY abrupt & I felt did not take even a few moments to familiarize himself with my brief history. He kept ordering tests that I had been through multiple times in two years. He freaked out when he got his own tests back about my gall stones. This was in my one page summary on the first day I went it. He never read it! The surgeons he sent me to said I did not need surgery & to go back & tell him that. I felt like I was on a merry go round. During the winter, I had 3 appointments that I disrobed completely for, only to be told he had just then called in sick & no one knew. The office staff is super sweet, but this guy really lacks in the social & communication skills. His manner is like you are a huge inconvenience to him just by being in his office. I got nowhere with him & after one year of trying, I went somewhere else. In the one year I tried to get an ongoing issue… resolved, the best thing I got was a forward to a great OBGYN!

In almost 2 years I was his patient. My repeated requests for a physical exam were ignored. Prescriptions were often wrong, and one life threatening. He is a nice man, but if you see him as a patient I recommend two measures: 1) write down exactly how your prescriptions are worded; 2) talk to him only when you have eye contact; ask him to repeat what you said.

Dr Serrano and his staff were thorough, very kind, and generous with their time. I never once felt rushed. Dr Serrano saw both my husband and I on the same day, and had no problem juggling the 2 of us. Even though Dr Serrano was thorough, and I did not feel rushed, and you could still say, our office visit was not long and drawn out. And the Barista(coffee)lady in the lobby was delightful too.
