Making an appointment with him is easy, receptionist is friendly as well.Wait time to be called in back is relatively short.When it comes to follow up appointments his office expects the patient to call to schedule the appointment when it can be done right there while I was in the office.A good dr’s office will schedule the appointments when the patient is checking out. If you like extra work he’s your dr,but if you’re a busy mom like me who likes to have things done swift and efficiently I recommend keep on looking because his office doesn’t do that.

Dr Silat is a nice dr,doesn’t force unnecessary medications onto his patients,I can get labs done at his office. Office staff are friendly.

I had stopped going to see Dr Silat in his office due to the front desk/MA who was rude and unprofessional. I needed to be seen last week for an emergency and found out that MA is no longer there and the new employees are pleasant and very professional. I will be going there again on a regular basis.

While at Encompass, saw me daily. Then when I was set to go to Green Oaks, he said he could not see me regularly there. So, he recommends a place in Kennedale, where he comes daily. (turns out or rumored he's part owner). Once I'm ensconced there, he saw me twice in two months.

I met Dr Silat at my bedside, after my knee replacement surgery. He there checking on me with no arterial motive other than to let me know about some concerns he had, about some of my blood work. He told me all the things I needed to go an discuss with my primary care physician. Well I then realized out of all the blood work that my primary physician had done this year, and had not noticed any of this, that maybe I need to see a doctor with some concern, so Dr Silat is know seeing me and it has been an excellent decision. He is at this time taking care of my issues, and I am very pleased with He and his staff

Dr. Silat treats my brother at his Nursing Home and in the Hospital. I have never met a smarter, more caring doctor in my entire life. He not only gives his best for his patients but he makes sure they get the best from other doctors that work with him. I would recommend him to anyone.

Unlike the previous reviewer, i think Dr. Silat is one of the most compassionate and well meaning physicians I have ever come across. He is the last person in the world i would label as "co pay hungry".As far as medical care goes, let's just say I have recommended all my friends and family to him. I wish there were more doctors like him in present time.

He is only interested in building up his patient load then treats you with no compassion or care. Very unsympathetic. Once went in complaining of a UTI, flank pain and he didn't even do a urine sample. Went a few times complaining of a fever and sore throat-no throat culture done! Unprofessional to say the least!

It's so hard to find a doctor like Dr. Silat. After my mother suffered a mild heart attack, someone recommended Dr. Silat as her new primary physician. We are so glad we took their advice. He proved to be such a wonderful, caring physician. My mother, who turns 94 in July, immediately felt comfortable with the new doctor. We, her children, felt the very same way. His receptionist, Karen, takes the time to talk to the family, even on her own time. Thank you so much. He is an excellent physician!
