Dr. Noor Mohammed Merchant, MD

Fabulous. Dr Merchant is always caring and very professional. He takes time to discuss any questions I might have and goes above and beyond to allow me to get the finest care. Dr Merchant always directs me in a positive direction and eases my mind to all my care allowing me to be active and understand my. care.

He is a very mart and compassionate doctor. His staff is very helpful. I would highly recommend Dr Merchant without hesitation. We are fortunate to have hem here in Vero Beach. He is very good at getting to the bottom of issues.

Most doctors spend lest than 3minutes visiting there patient on the hospital. Dr Merchant takes the time explain the testing results; What medical treatment will be used and takes his time to answer any questions you have. His attitude is “I care about you”

Dr.Merchant is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He really cares about the patients. I see some people get a bit upset with him but he is only human also, and unfortunately he can not save everyone., but he sure tries. His staff is wonderful, bright and cheerful. That more than I can say for a lot of Dr.s offices. I have had cancer twice and if I have cancer again yes he would be my doctor again.

I have been to Dr. Merchant and found him to be an excellent Doctor! Exceptionally knowledgeable, very patient, kind and comforting. I was a wreck going to see him, but his mannerism and knowledge put me immediately at ease.

Dr. Noor Merchant is one of the RUDEST and WORST Dr.s I have ever visited. He came into the exam room, and I introduced myself and my wife and 2 daughters who came with me as this was my 1st visit with him, and wanted to hear what stage and type my cancer was, and what he recommended for treatment. He shook my hand and said "Hello" but did not greet or shake my wife or daughter's hands. He seemed annoyed they were with me. When my wife put out her hand to shake his in introduction, he pulled his hand away and immediately sat on a stool facing the computer. He never turned to look at me, or us while speaking. One of my daughters took a seat that sat against a wall to his right side. She said he ROLLED HIS EYES every time my wife asked a question! I guess he thought she could not see him do that. What an A**H*** AND JERK! I had told him that my wife was battling breast cancer and now I had been diagnosed with cancer too. How dare he roll his eyes every time my wife spoke! That is the… height of rudeness and uncalled for! Further, he had not gone over any of my scan results, biopsy reports, or other medical files forwarded to his office from my other doctors before my appointment. He had no idea WHY I WAS THERE. SMH!!! During the consultation, we had a hard time understanding a long technical word he had spoken. My wife who was taking notes said very nicely "I'm sorry, but I can't understand you, could you please spell that for me?" He rudely replied "I'll write it down for you!" Again, he seemed annoyed. In addition, Dr. Merchant said he would give me two prescriptions to help me with a couple of serious symptoms I was having. We left the exam room and were passing the front desk when I realized I had not been given the two prescriptions. I told a person at the front desk that Dr. Merchant said he would be given me two prescriptions and I didn't get them. She replied "He's with another patient. I'll ask him to write them for you and you can come back tomorrow to pick them up." I told her that I would not be available the next day to come back, could she please ask him for them now, or call have them into my pharmacy. She said "I'll get the office manager." We waited and waited and waited. No one came back to us. My wife then went up to the front desk and asked her again about the prescriptions and if the office manager was coming to speak to us. She seemed annoyed we were still there! After 20 additional minutes of waiting I received only one prescription. At that point we had had enough and just wanted to leave. As soon as we walked through the front doors my wife and daughters said in unison "What a JERK!" "We DO NOT WANT HIM OVERSEEING YOUR TREATMENT!" I would not go to Dr. Merchant for a flu shot, much less trust him with my treatment for cancer! You only get one chance to make a good first impression, and he could not have made a worse one. I would give him ZERO STARS if possible. He displayed no sense of compassion, empathy, kindness, concern or simple manners. WORST DOCTOR EVER!!!!

In my 58 years of coming in contact with many doctors, Dr. Merchant is number one in my book. He is caring, patient, and compassionate. His nursing staff know their jobs and do it well. The front staff also do a great job and are such wonderful girls. I never had trouble getting in touch with him or his team with concerns or needs that we needed addressed. I cant say enough how I feel about this Dr. I do believe this man can walk on water. We lost our battle with my husbands cancer. It wasn't due to the care of Dr. Merchant. Time wasn't on our side.... I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Merchant and his entire staff. He treated me for colorectal cancer in 2009. He is the best! I would highly recommend Dr. Merchant to anyone who wants the best medical care for cancer! His staff, Malia, Tiffany, and all the others are the best too!

Great Dr.! He explained everything to me about my cancer and even wrote things down for me to search for on the internet. He took action right away, even called while I was sitting there to get my port put in sooner because the surgeon said he couldn't do it soon enough for Dr. Merchant! Started my chemo in less than a week!

Dr. Merchant is the best! He saved my life! Thank you! Now I can be free to run in fields of laughter with my husband & my children. Greatly appreciate everything this man has done for me.
