My four year old was complaining of pain in his right eye and exhibited severe light sensitivity. She didn’t even shine a flashlight in his eye before prescribing pink eye medication. When he seemed worse after 24hrs of medication I took him to the ER. They determined that it was not an infection (pink eye)but couldn’t determine the exact cause. They referred us to an eye specialist. Turns out he had something in his cornea. I just feel that if she wasn’t capable of giving us a diagnosis she should have referred us else where right up front. She should have at least been able to determine if it was an infection or not.

Poor interpersonal skills, dismissive, did not even touch me, use a stethoscope, nothing. Looked at my labs, told me there was nothing she could do about bringing down thyroid levels that were out of control, only that I needed to “go home and not worry”. I was in with complaints of chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, was told to go to Urgent Care as my Pres endocrinologist was unavailable. Not very reassuring, hope I never have to see her again.
