My overall impression was she needs a drug test

As a snow bird I had a difficult time finding a primary doctor here in FT. Myers. I had hopes that Dr. Nora David would be the answer to my prayers but unfortunately NOT. I agree with the other reviews Dr. David's bedside manner is awful. She was non-responsive several time at my last visit. I had concerns about getting the flu shot, since my family history has many neurological issues such as ALS, MS and Parkinson and the flu shots that contain thimersol have been known to bring on these issues. Dr. David said, "I recommend the shot, I will not twist your arm to get it. I do not give the shots here you have to go to the drug store and ask the pharmacist about the thimersol." She did not try to quench my concerns. Several times she just stared at the floor. Even my husband who came into the room with me was not impressed. He called her vacant. She did listen to my heart and lungs. I also had pressure in my ears. She looked in my ears but said nothing. I had to pull information from… her by asking " My eyes, nose and throat are burning; is that due to the Red Tide?" She said, "Sounds like Red Tide. Should be gone in a couple weeks." I asked about getting Tamiflu; she was unwilling to give me a script. Told me to go to the clinic if I think I have the flu and they can give you the Tamiflu.

Dr. David seems qualified according to her positive credentials. However, I felt that my annual physical was incomplete. She asked few questions and had no interest in what my previous doctors had said or done. Her bedside manner really needs work. She might be a good doctor if you have a specific and time limited concern, but for “ connecting the dots” or on going care, I might look elsewhere. People skills need development.

not happy at all- very unresponsive- barely listened to me- told her I having trouble sleeping, I asked about something to help- she asked "what do you want" my relpy- you are the doctor- you tell me??????

I left comments at another site. I saw this doctor for first and last time. The doctor will not listen to the patient.

Dr. David fired me as a patient. I asked her to fill out some Social Securtiy Disablity forms and she said that she does not get involved in matters like this. The three other doctors that I go to said that its her job and she should be doing it. One week later I received a letter from IMA saying that I could not be in the building any longer. Terrible bed side manner. She needs to have spine transplant.

Bad experience

This doctor is robotic and lacks any quality bedside manner. She is insensitive and rude to patients. She "talks down" to them. She talks negatively about her patients in the hallway with office staff when she believes that they have left the office. Do not see this doctor, she will not treat you with the care that you deserve!

cold, bad bedside manner, very nasty!

I was seen right away and given the appropriate medication for my condition. Doctor David listened attentively and I did not feel rushed.
