Dr Nora Meaney-Elman is an excellent doctor who takes the time to listen and treat the patient as whole. She is thorough knowledgeable and explains so you can understand. She surrounds herself with a fantastic team also. Highly recommend

I started with Dr. Meaney-Elman about a year ago, opting to pay for a concierge doc because I was not being given the time necessary to get a diagnosis for my condition. There is never more than a few minutes wait time (that alone is worth the price!), the doctor spent lots of time with me and I finally felt like someone was listening to me. Within a few months I had a diagnosis of Progressive Bulbar Palsy, a variant form of ALS. After the diagnois I actually had one specialist tell me I was released from her care and “good luck”, but Dr. Meaney-Elman continues to treat me as a living human being with other more minor medical issues that need to be addressed. She is professional, very helpful and very interested. I am blessed to be able to afford her care, but, at this point, I would sacrifice a lot if I had to in order to continue under her care.

Was a member of this practice for roughly two decades, after recently moving back into town after a couple of years out of state I contacted Elman requesting to schedule an appointment as I needed a one-sentence doctor's note to clear me to return to work after a brief medical leave. She kept me on the phone for over 20 minutes, seemingly unable to grasp the straightforward request, repeating ad nauseam that since she had not seen me in a while this would not be possible. She is a meaney. No self-awareness, incredibly rude, abrasive, and completely lacking in empathy. By the time I hung up the phone I was beyond frustrated and close to tears. I was able to schedule an appointment the very next day with a PMD I had never previously met, and in a lesser amount of time than I had spent on the phone with Elman, was able to complete the necessary physical exam and attain the documentation I required. Will absolutely not be returning to this practice.

I've been with Dr. Meaney-Elman for some time and was disappointed to learn that she would be going with MVP, though, I understand that it permits her to offer more personalized care, and spend more time with patients without being rushed. She is an excellent physician. I would, however, agree with others who have said that her front line staff can be very rude, particularly Cheryl. Sorry to call her out by name, but, there's no point in being vague. Cheryl has been less than friendly even when I've called with a major health concern, it definitely does feel as though one is putting her out. Customer service is not her "thing". I've never understood why Dr. Meaney-Elman has tolerated her treatment of patients as long as she has. In this new program where patients will be paying top dollar for Dr. Meaney-Elman's expertise, she needs to reconsider who she has interacting with her patients -- Cheryl should not be the one doing so.

Very disappointed that after a decade of being a patient she has opted to turn her practice into a " designer boutique medical practice" In 5 yrs, I've seen her rarely on appts, and most visits were with her PA. Now with this "new" practice it will cost $1300 a yr just to be a patient of hers. That's outrageous. These poor elderly and medically challenged patients, get notified, to either pay 1300 $ a yr for " the best physical " and " blood results from Cleveland Clinic". Well, As a patient for over 10 yrs I expected the best physical, regardless. I have chosen to leave this ridiculous practice, and frankly Dr E should've retired instead of building her practice to over 2000 patients then dumping them for a new practice that will require them to pay a tremendous amount of money just to have her as a DR.

Dr. Nora is wonderful!!!! Cares about her patients! The wait is too long! Sometimes 2-4 hours at the office. Staff are horrible. They complain about how they hate their jobs in front of you. Prescriptions are never sent in or pharmacy called back for refills. They always are blaming the pharmacy for issues when it is clearly them. The staff are rude on phone when you have a urgent medical situation like you are bothering them. So I am going to a new doctor after 10 years of going to her! Enough! When I told them to cancel my next appointment due to an issue with a staff member and getting a new doc they could have cared less. Never asked why.

Dr. Elman is fairly nice and knowledgeable, however she can be very unprofessional (saying how stressed she is, yelling out to staff, etc). The wait time to see her is at least 1-2 hours, and her staff is very unprofessional and rude. Needless to say i left as this is unacceptable.

Dr Meaney Elman is a very caring ,compassionate person. She is very thorough and listens to what you say. This is worth the wait time for some appts .
