I saw Dr. Wecker today for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. She was very easy to talk to and spoke my daughter directly. She was compassionate and understanding. My daughter being a teenager felt very comfortable.

I would not recommend dr wecker to anybody. My infant daughter has had a well visit and a walk in sick visit with her. she rushed through both appointments and has absolutely terrible bedside manner. i will start with the well visit my daughter had. dr wecker did not take the time to address any of our questions or concerns. She walked into the room, vaccines in hand and just started administering vaccines to my daughter without telling us what she was going to do or explaining what they were. i was completely shocked. Dr wecker then goes on to say that on my daughters next appointment she was going to give our daughter a vaccine, a vaccine that not many drs give but that she wanted to give it to my daughter. not once did she ask us if it was ok or explain what the vaccine was. she told us that that was what she was GOING to do. needless to say my husband and i left that appointment and immediately scheduled her next appointment with another doctor at the practice. My next encounter… with dr wecker was when i took my daughter for a walk in visit when she was sick. again dr wecker rushed through the whole appointment, she didnt ask permission or explain what she was going to do before examining my daughter which including her cleaning out my daughters ears with a stick like device and telling us to pin her down as my daughter was crying so much she almost passed out. she then proceeded to walk out the door before answering any of my questions or concerns. i called her back into the room so i could voice some of theses questions and dr wecker laughed at me when i voiced my concerns. i could tell she looked at me like i was just a stupid over protective mother. i truly believe dr wecker should not be a pediatrician, it is so painstakingly obvious that this is just a job to her and she is rushing through her appointments so she can leave. i am now in the process of finding a new pediatrician and would like to forewarn any parents who may be thinking of using dr wecker.
