I am not much on "reviews" but in the case of Dr. Garcia I MUST leave a review. Dr. Garcia is the most amazing doctor, surgeon, and human being I have ever met. I was lucky to have met him after coming back to the US from the Philippines for a very serious problem. He was my surgeon and without his knowledge, care, and expertise I would have died in the Philippines. I have never met a doctor like him and I am thankful to God for putting this amazing man in my life. I had what was called a Fistual which was an abnormal opening between the bladder and colon. Dr. Garcia had to remove a portion of my colon but repaired the damage and now I am good as new. He also recently did a Colonoscopy on me and removed 3 Polyps successfully and no cancer was present. Thank you Dr. Garcia...you will ALWAYS be in my prayers for the rest of my life.

After a 6 hour operation which included putting a feeding tube in his intestine Dr. Garcia decided, since he was doing so well, to start the feeding all the way instead of gradually. After two days of me telling them something was not right my husband became septic, had to have surgery to remove the dead intestine, 50 inches, but it was too late. He never came out of a self induced coma and died a week later.

We thought Dr. Garcia was wonderful. Prior to surgery he listened to every detail of my husband's long ordeal with a colorectal incident which has been plaguing my husband for two years. Dr. Garcia was the 4th surgeon he had seen. After three previous surgeries nothing had been resolved and my husband's quality of life has continued to worsen. Dr. Garcia thoroughly addressed the issue, checked out all possible causes and found no under lying issues of disease (which gave us peace of mind) and finally closed the wound for a quick recovery. We are confident that Dr. Garcia finally found the answer my husband needed and Dr. Garcia's compassion after the surgery was a great relief to me.
