Dr. Norene Sherrill Fleming

I just mentioned this doctor to a co-worker to tell her how unprofessionally she was. My visit was over 20 years ago and I wish I had posted a complaint back then. I thought it was me and that I had overreacted but after seeing these complaints I realize I wasn't crazy. She was the worst doctor I ever had seen. I was a new patient coming in for a routine physical and she didn't even introduce herself, she just came in, said nothing, examined me and during my consultation she was rude, mean and complained about my weight, although she was huge. The point is, she didn't know me from a can of worms and knew no history about me or my weight. I was disgusted and hurt to say the least to witness a doctor act like this. I said nothing during our meeting, got my prescription, and left the office. I was so humiliated I refused to pay and told the staff to sue me if necessary. All I can say about Dr. Fleming is don't ever step foot in her office. I wouldn't a bug to her. Remember,… this was 20 years ago and judging my this list of complaints, she hasn't changed one bit. Wish I had posted this years ago.

The best doctor I ever went to. I wish she was still practicing.

Today, I was researching after my first post to try and retrieve my medical records from Norene Flemings medical practice. First, I called the office of which she had her last practice, that was horrible....she must have burnt them beyond recognition.....2. i placed her name in the Maryland State Board of Physicians.....and whoooollllaaaaaa who appears her license has been revoked from the state....she did not even try to appeal the decision...which lead me to believe something is and was shaky.....you can read on line for your information

It goes with out saying: to my counterpart who seen dr. fleming...I also, had two miscarriges and the last one, my sonogram return with discrepencies.....8 days later i went into earyl labor, went to pg hospital and (a little girl)....i never seen her...dr. fleming again

Dr. Norene Fleming is one of the worst doctors I have ever been to. I was referred to her by my previous doctor for pregnancy. After the birth of my daughter I never went back to Norene and I even stopped going to see my regular practitioner because of the bad referral.The wait time in her office was horrible. She was always double booked and if there was a concern and you left a message with the nurse's line, she almost never got back to me. When I went in to have my daughter it was an induction. I never once saw Dr. Fleming before during or after my delivery. I ended up having to have a ceasarean and when I went to get my staples she removed she said "Who did these?"....really. She removed my staples and I never went back and I tell everyone that I encounter who is looking for a doctor NOT TO GO TO HER.

I went through several miscarriages with Dr. Fleming and in the beginning she was very supportive. With my last miscarriage as her patient, she was very mean. She told me that I should stop trying to get pregnant. I should have a fertility clinic harvest my eggs, have a relative carry the baby, and be done with it.No bedside manner at all! Although this might have been wisedom, it was really hurtful. Not to mention I was going through a miscarriage as she told me this. I contacted the hospital I was at and filed a complaint. Unprofessional and no compassion. I writing this in hopes that another woman won't have to go through what I went through. I have since started seeing another doctor that is wonderful!!

I have to agree with the other posting about this doctor talking to someone about their weight when she is clearly over 300lbs. This was my very first gyn., and I thought this was the norm for a doctor to show up late, not being dressed appropriately, personal office was a mess, papers everywhere. She missed diagnosed or shall I say never diagnosed my condition. It took several years to find a real gyn, who cared about me and my health.

The doctor was notourious for being a hour late causing continued delays. She isn;t affliated with several hospitals that are listed on insurance websites. She is affliated with PG Hospital, that was not a option for the birth of my first child.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fleming for more than 5 years, and with all that I had to deal with during my fibroid surgery and followup she was great and treated me as if I was amongst a few of her only patients, I didnt now worry about my condition once she was taking care of me and, I thank her regularly for all the hard work she put in to continue my care aftewards.
