Norma Burdette, FNP-C

A board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She first earned her Associate's Degree in Nursing at Southwestern Community College in 2007 and then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western Carolina University in 2017. She enjoyed twelve fulfiling years at the bedside in various specialties including intesive care, telemetry/cardiac care, critical care,medical-surgical care, restorative care, and hospice/palliative care. She then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Western Carolina University. While in residency she was able to obtain education at various locations including the Cherokee Indian Hospital with the focus in geriatrics and pediatrics, Jackson County Health Department in women's health and high risk pregnancy, and Internal Medicine and Family practice with Mission Health. Working as a Family Nurse Practioner in her community has brought her full circle back to caring for patients and having a positive impact on their lives.
