Dr. Norma Jeanette Montiel, DO

Dr. Montiel is extremely professional. Although her schedule was packed, she gave me her undivided attention. Dr. Montiel was very thorough, and provided me with excellent care.

I waited an hour in the waiting room, which was overcrowded considering we are in the middle of a pandemic! Dr. Montiel was pleasant but abrupt; she rushed through my skin check and did not do a thorough skin check. I felt so rushed that I forgot to ask an important question about lesions on my arms. I feel like I flushed $40 copay down the toilet! I usually read reviews before I visit a Dr. This time, I didn’t and I regret it.

She is very professional and I am confident she is doing an excellent job! Highly recommended!

I saw Dr. Montiel for a growth I was worried about, she didn't think it was scary but removed it anyway. She was caring and gave me reassurance. The staff is friendly and helpful. I received a call with good results within a week. Everyone is helpful and pleasant and all my questions were answered. I am very happy with Dr. Montiel and her staff. I definitely recommend Dr. Montiel.

Procedures are not done maintaining sterility nor aseptic technique. I had 2 simple biopsies done, one in my groin and one on my breast. I ended up with a severe case of cellulitis. Mind you, I have an intact immune system, have undergone multiple surgeries in the recent past without any type of wound infection. Speaking of this practice to a colleague, I learned that her husband had gone to Dr Montiel and ended up with Klebisiella-( which is a virulent infection). I found out that this doctor used the same needle and scaple to remove the mole in my groin fist and then my breast. I was not looking, was trusting that she knew what she was doing but apparently she either does not care or is uneducated of how to provide safe care to her patients. The board of health should go into her practice to protect the public.

Dr. Montiel is professional and excellent Dermatologist.

I've had a great experience with Dr Montiel. She's seen me and my 16 year old for acne, rosecea and other skin issues. She's warm, funny and tells it like it is. You might wait a little, on average I've seen her about 20-30 minutes past my appointment time, but she's worth it. Her staff is nice as well.

Dr. Montiel is a wonderful dermatologist. Very thorough and knowledgeable. She explains what she is doing and I left feeling that I was in good hands.

This was the second time I saw Dr. Monteil. She was and is an excellent doctor. First time she removed a growth, this time correctly diagnosed a skin rash. I like her direct manner and personality. She is a doctor who listens to your story and acts on it. I find her very pleasant and accommodating. Her assistant is also excellent and helpful.

Did not like that I had many ways raised and dis colored bumps on me and they did nothing about it my brother had the same thing and went to another dermatologist and they had it removed I don't understand why she didn't remove mine I do not trust her
