I’ve been going to Dr. Schmitz since she first came to town. She is so professional, friendly, and thorough with her patients. I highly recommend her specialty services to anyone. I think she is great !!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Schmitz soon after she opened her practice in Terre Haute, IN. She is such a caring and intelligent doctor. I am a senior citizen so have seen a lot of doctors, and she is at the top of the list! She is soft spoken and professional when explaining a procedure prior to its execution, and then is thoroughly keeping abreast of the situation through follow up regular visits, monitoring every change that could occur. I have heard so many local people voicing their admiration for her and how fortunate we are to have her in our community. She is a doctor who can be fully trusted in her knowledge, and knowing she will guide her patients to a qualified surgeon if any surgery is involved. My husband was one of her very first patients. He had several skin conditions that were threatening. She was always diligently keeping track of any changes and treating them successfully. I would not recommend any other dermatologist over her. She is absolutely the best… doctor I could ever trust. I'm so thankful that she has time for me as one of her patients.

Friendly staff, warming environment, professional, doctor is very informative and thorough

Good Dr., but wait time is unacceptable. You will have to plan for at least 2 or more hours for an appointment! Front desk staff behaves as if you are in the wrong when you ask for an update on the wait time.

We always wait over an hour in the waiting room, once in the treatment room usually wait another half hour. This doctor does not care about her patients, acts as if my time is not important. When talking with her she act intitled. The only dermatonlogist in the area, not much choice but to suffer with her. If you cancel an apointment the re schedule is usually a year away, then the staff makes you feel like an idiot if you cancel.. Bad experience, if you can go to somone else

I don't like the fact that if you have to have something as simple as a small mole scraped you have to make another appt for the "surgery" room. Rediculous! Just a way to milk the insurance co. and the patient.
