Norma C Somohano-Mendiola

I am Dr. Norma Somohano -Mendiola. I am a healer educated at the highest level of my profession. I have over 30 years of experience promoting women's health at all stages of life. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing with Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees. I graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing degree and as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I have experience in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Childbirth Education, Fetal Ultrasound and Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Menopause. I am a member of the North American Menopause Society, The Institute for Functional Medicine, The American Association for Anti-Aging, The American College for Obstetricians & Gynecologists and The Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.From childbirth, breast and cervical cancer, and menopause, to sexuality as we age, there are issues that only women face and that only a …woman has experienced.I have an interest in a holistic approach to issues that are unique to women.
