My 3 hour surgery and overnight stay in the hospital turned into a 6 1/5 hour surgery and a week in the hospital with sever pain and loss of strength and paralisis in my left hand. Follow up care consisted of seeing his nurse. At which time she tried to tell me that this could be expected with my surgery. After demanding to see the Dr. He then informed me that the nurse had someone elses paper work with my name on it. He then laughed when I informed him that my hand would not work (it was fine before the surgery). He said "I know I hurt your shoulder and I am soory". I left in shock. After another visit to an ER for more pain medication. I demanded another appointment. This time he sent me for an EMG (this was very painful). The Dr. who performed the EMG said that I had a problem with "C8-T1 and I needed an MRI and posibly another surgery". I waited 2 weeks for Dr. Bambers office to get back with me. I finnely called them. His nurse called me back and said "they had the report but felt… it was due to the shoulder injury. And they wanted me to go to Physical Theraphy. I did but this just made things worse. I finnely went and got copies of all my records. I took them to 3 other Dr. They could not belive that he ignoired the EMG report. I am now sechulded for an MRI and a visit to another Dr.
