Dr. Norman Thomas Berlinger, MD

I did not expect to be able to make an appointment so soon, but got in to see Dr. Berlinger within two days. Audiologist was very friendly and I saw the doctor immediately after without a wait. Dr. Berlinger had all the time in the world for me and seemed unaware of the time that had passed - explained his preliminary diagnosis clearly and thoroughly. I was a reluctant patient but am at now ease with the process and very relieved to be getting the help I need.

I thought this doctor was amazing. He made me feel very comfortable upon meeting him for the first time... He had a wonderful bedside manner and put me at ease..He was caring and explained to me exactly what I had going on in my throat.I would recommend this doctor to any one of my friends and family!

very good at explaining complicated issues

The wait time was due to filling out new patient info. Very thorough, took all the time I needed so I understood what was wrong. Explained in laymen's terms. This was my second opinion and what he found was substantiated with proof. He caught what the prior specialist from a different clinic had not, thank goodness. Due to this I am on the road to recovery and am not losing my hearing as the previous ENT dr. had told me. Unbeknownst to Dr. Berlinger, he had worked with my daughter 20 years prior to my visit. At that time he was the only dr. out of three (one being from Rochester) that was able to diagnose my daughter's reason for losing her hearing. I have total faith in this man for being the professional that he is, his bedside manner, and making me feel like his only patient.

He prescribes an addicting drug for tinnitus. Does not give you info on withdrawal from drug.
