Dr. Norman Jermane Chan, MD

Dr. Chan is a true professional. He is very knowledgeable, polite, and caring. He took his time and had great bedside manners. He is efficient and able to diagnose the root cause of my hearing loss. Dr. Chan is a good communicators. He explained to me what he was doing and eased my anxiety. I am glad that they have weekend hours and the office texted me ahead to clear the confusion before I got to the office.

I went to see Dr. Chan for intermittent hearing loss and as I'm only in my 20's, I went in pretty anxious about going deaf. Not only did he diagnose the reason behind my hearing issue quickly during our first visit, but he gave me the reassurance I needed and provided me a good plan on how to reduce my symptoms. My impression of the office: Didn't have much of a wait to be seen, the office is nice & clean and the staff are very friendly.

This doctor was very helpful and the office is brand new an clean. I'm glad I took a chance to went to see him despite some of the negative reviews. He was thorough and very attentive.

I had a nagging cough for months that my family doctor said was caused by allergy. Finally, I decided to seek the advice of an ENT when my wife's friend recommended Dr. Chan. He asked a lot of questions and listened to me attentively. Based on the interview, Dr. Chan carefully examed and scoped me to confirmed that I am suffering from gastric reflux. He patiently explained the result to me and I never felt being rushed. It makes sence because I have stomach metaplasia. Thanks Dr. Chan, otherwise my reflux would have gone untreated! The office is clean and the staffs are professional and courteous.

Poor attitude, Poor technique????

Clearly inexperienced and lacked empathy. I'm a senior citizen and this doctor didn’t want to help me hang up my coat even though my hands were full and I was in cervical collar from surgery. He claimed he was unable to read CT images on his computer. He refused to call the radiologist who wrote the report who noted possible cancerous lesion in my mouth. He refused to give me my visit note when all other doctor I’ve seen immediately prints one for new patients. Now my surgeon does not know Norman’s assessments. Then claimed I had GERD. He was only interested in shoving down the scope down my nose to collect hefty fee from my insurance.

The worst doctor ever! He rarely made eye contacts during the visit and he didn't explain what procedure he was going to provide. The highlight of this bad experience was the staff charged ridiculous amount for the short visit even though I don't have any deductible in my insurance. She showed the total amount written on a piece of blank paper without any official receipt or itemization.
