Dr. Norman Theodore Crabb, DO

Doctor Crabb was so insulting on my first visit! He even used the F...word. The visit was beyond my comprehension to think that this doctor could be in practice. All the nurses that I was in contact with were almost as rude as him. One nurse told me if I didn’t get a certain medication filled for me not to come back. I was told I had to get a mammogram right away and when I canceled the appointment because I was feeling ill I was told that this was a problem! I have a serious chronic illness and major migraines. I felt like I was living in a Socialist Country! The nurse practitioner Candice told me on my last appt that there were red flags because the local pharmacist said I was taking too many sumatriptans for my migraines. I’ve been seeing a top notch pain management doctor for years for pain with a perfect record! I walked out that day. I was going to see the office manager but I felt too sick. I will say the front desk people were always nice. This is my first review ever and I’m… writing this only to make people be aware of how unprofessional this office is! I have never experienced anything like it in my life!

Dr. Crabb is on the growing list of doctors who accept patients into their practice because insurance companies pay the doctors a fee every month for the patients on their list whether they see them or not. So that is why you wait forever for an appointment and when you do get in to see the doctor, perhaps it would have been better to make another choice or rely on your own instinct. This is a growing problem in areas where Obama care burgeoned but there are not enough doctors to address all the patients who need care. Avoid him.

I couldnt get thru for appointment... was placed on hold for 10 minutes, no one checked in with me...?? Needing a primary care physician so I can go to an ENT specialist...Never Mind

great dr. needs more caring, compasionate staff, more like guard dogs, no accsss to dr without appt.

Dr Crabb is very, very good. Adept and caring. His staff, in particular, recptionist, is crabby, (pardon the pun) and inefficient. Her poor attitude and non-caring shows. She is grossly inefficient at her job. Replacing her would go a long way to helping Dr. Crabb help his patients!

We really like Dr. Crabb. However his office staff leaves a lot to be desired. I am a retired RN and if I had treated patients the way his office staff treats patients I would have been without a job and a nursing license. Had lab drawn while I was there and never heard back from it. Called a week later to get my results and was informed very sarcastically, by his assistant, that if there had been anything wrong the Dr. would have called me. I told her that I wanted my results (the numbers) and she would not give them to me. It is my right, under HIPPA and Cobra laws as a patient to have those results. I plan on using Dr. Crabb again but do plan on talking to him about his staff. Then if nothing is done, I will find another Dr.

To curt.Not friendly.When I made mention of the very long wait time because I needed to see Dr. Crabb as soon as he got back from vacation because the shingles vac. given me really made me sick.She said I was not telling the truth that I never waited 3 hrs that it might have been 1-1/2 hrs but never 3 and that I needed to find me another Dr.Good primary Drs. are hard to find.Now I am without a Dr.And I am still feeling effects of that shot.
