Dr. Norman P Forester, MD

I feel that Dr Forester is a very good Doctor. I feel very comfortable with him. He explains things thoroughly and does not speak in doctors terminology over my head. When I am having a problem, he takes me in immediately to resolve the problem. We have a very good Doctor/Patient relation and his Nurse Gail is wonderful.

What I like... known him for years. What I don't like - he is awful, incompetent and is just collecting people's money. There is really not a reason he should be practicing medicine. He's outdated and really should go sit down once and for all. He is a hazard to patients - in my opinion. Decide for yourself, if you live long enough. The staff is slow and makes no effort to get patients in and out. There is a limited amount of time spent with patients and his follow-up is non-existent.

Let me start with, I have only been to him twice. The first thing I noticed when getting into see him was that all of the medical posters that normally hang around a doctors office were all written on. I wouldn't say vandalized because it looked like someone was trying to explain something and drew on them...on every poster...in both rooms I went in. In one of the rooms there was a stalagtite made of soap underneath the dispenser which indicates that that particular counter hadn't been cleaned in months. When I got to talk to him, he took my information (previous history, medications, ailments) on a napkin that he pulled from the dispenser...he kept this napkin between my two visits and THAT was my file. I went for high blood pressure and he gave me a brand new drug (edarbyclor) that I took for two weeks and nearly caused me to pass out on several occasions, and caused me to lose vision whenever I would go from sitting to standing (I quit taking it). I decided to see a… cardiologist and he wouldn't transfer my files to them. He was a nice enough guy and his staff is really nice but after my two visits I think I'm done going there.
