Dr. Norman Jerry Hamburger, MD

I absolutely had no clue who Dr. Hamburger was, in 1985 he was on my insurance plan and I just picked his name for the heck of it. I went to him and he took very good care of me thru out my pregnancy with my son. My daughter was a toddler and always talking, she would tell him that her doctors name is Dr. Hot-Dog. He and his staff got a big kick out of her. My son had to have tubes in his ears and when I went to the recovery room to get him. Dr. Hamburger was holding him and rocking him. I thought that was so sweet. I continued seeing him for many yrs until I moved away. I am very grateful for his care and knowledge and memories. Happy Retirement Dr. Hamburger!

I went in for my first appt with him and expressed how i was having some swelling and pain in my leg and he insisted it was the shoes I was wearing but I haven’t been anywhere to wear shoes. The next day I went into the Er and they admitted me for having a blood clot in the leg I was concerned about and could’ve died from. i will NOT be going back to him at all.

My first pregnancy i got up thought my water broke we get tothe hospital he comes in with his golf playin pants on checks me said your fine water not broke he then gets to the door turns around saids oh theres no reason to cry wolf. I left him went with Dr.Hirsch. Screw Dr. Hamberger.

Told me I was getting too fat then told me I needed to get up off the couch and do something about it-as if he knows what I do each day

Amazing, seasoned physician who is caring and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him!

Very disappointed! Not easy to talk to! Doesnt ask questions and doesnt inform you on things specifically pertaining to your own body and condition. Spends all of about 3 minutes in the room and has screwed up my charts several times! Is very rude to doulas and natural friendly questions and birth plans. I do not recommend this Dr. As much as it hurts to write a negative report, others need to be warned. He use to care about his patients but now hes nonchalant and inpatient. You have to pry info out of him to know whats really going on. I feel hes only still praticing for the $$...

The worst I was treated badly and hurt during exam never want to see him again

BEWARE!!!! I came in for and annual Pap Smear and received $1400.00 bill because they sent my lab out to someone other than who was covered under my insurance. I called the the dr's office and they said it was my fault for not telling them which lab to use even though they told everything would be covered at %100

I have seen Dr. H for years and my experience has always been positive.
