Dr. Norman Mindrebo, MD

My experiences with Dr. Mindrebo have been excellent. Last year, he said I was “not ready” for knee surgery and prescribed physical therapy. That worked well for a year until my knee “changed.” New X-rays revealed that my knee is now “ready” so I am scheduled for knee replacement in a few weeks. I attended a special class and I am getting ready so that it will go as smoothly as possible. I feel confident in Dr. Mindrebo and his staff!

In my opinion, Dr Mindrebo is among the best of orthopedic surgeons that I have found. I have seen a couple of orthopedic surgeons before and Dr Mindrebo far exceeded my expectations. He replaced both my shoulders and left knee joints. I fully trust his knowledge and expertise. Thank you, Dr Mindrebo, for the excellent care and making me pain-free.

Dr. Norman Mindrebo really cares about his patients. I had an injury that took a lot of diagnosis, but he was able to determine the root cause and cured it. His staff is exceptional - Briana and Sara are two that come to mind .I would recommend Dr. Mendrebo, point blank.

Dr Mendrebo has replaces both my knees, taken a bone spur off my shoulder that was giving me a great deal of pain, and done two surgeries on my knees before the total knee replacement. He is the best!! I would recommend him for anything. I am considering going back to him for my spine. He really cares about his patients. He is human, so he is not above making mistakes, but prays before every surgery. I would rather have a man like Dr Mendrebo do surgery on me than to take a chance on someone who only relies on his own abilities and leaves God out of things, I think we all sometimes forget that our doctors and surgeons are human and therefore not above making mistakes. I know surgery is a serious thing, but I would trust this doctor anytime.

I gave Dr. Mindrebo a glowing review after my initial consultation, because of his diagnosis and his explanations. I then received a copy of his report to the Dept. Of Labor. He left out the most important current restriction; which, is causing me all kind of problems. He won`t even talk to me about it. I will never use him again.

I was sent to Dr. Mindrebo for a second opinion, by the Dept. Of Labor. I am a letter carrier; who fell on the ice , and sustained a very bad shoulder injury. I was suspicious of any doctor referred by the DOL. I could not have been more wrong. I was happy with my surgeon, except that I was having issues with my hand. Every time I asked him about it he would change the subject; leading me to believe, he may have made a mistake during my surgery. I asked Dr. Mindrebo his opinion on my hand, and after several questions my other surgeon failed to ask, he was able to tell me exactly why I was having these problems. It turned out to be caused by another preexisting condition that had nothing to do with my hand or shoulder. This doctor took a lot of time to explain why one condition affected another condition. It all makes sense to me now, and I am extremely impressed with Dr. Mindrebo. Dr Mindrebo has more than twice the experience of my current surgeon, and I believe that is why he was… able to answer my concerns. I will be relaying this information, to my current surgeon. I bet he will be very relieved to hear this information, because I believe he was worried about a possible malpractice suite. Dr Mindrebo told me that my current surgeon actually did a very good job; with, what he had to work with. He also told me that I would probably have complications later that will require future surgeries. You can bet that he will be the one performing them. He also told me that I could contact him if I had any other questions.

Dr. M and his staff are the best they spend as much time with you as you need. They are not quick to operate as they are to correctly diagnose the problem. If surgery is needed they make it as seamless and easy as possible. I have had 2 surgeries preformed by Dr. M and will be having a third on in a couple of days. I know I am in good hands and have no worries. Several people have asked me sbout my experience with New Hope Ortho and Dr M and we compared services and they will be going to Dr M for the next consultant. You simply will not go wrong; great doctor Great PA great office staff snd the best care in northern Indianapolis.

I have had 2 operations with him. I just cant say enough positives about my experience with Dr Mindrebo. He truly cares about you and does everything to get you healthy. I would never go to anyone else. He also doesnt operate on you if there is a better alternative. Simply a great Doctor

Dr. Mindrebo has done double knee joint replacements for my mother and a partial for me along with minor surgeries. I wouldn't go to anyone else.Any wait is made up by a great surgeon and a wonderful caring doctor that spends quality time with his patients. I wouldn't consider going to anyone else. I have referred friends and they also rave about Dr. Mindrebo!

I would refer ANYONE that I know to see Dr. Mindrebo! He is absolutely the best Dr. that I have ever seen. He is kind, caring, informed and actually cares about his patients!! Thank you Dr. Mindrebo for actually making some sense out of my 3 year long ordeal with my shoulder!
