Dr. Muntchnic is a wonderful surgeon - easy going personality, yet serious about his work. I've spoke with several people from the medical industry in the Kansas City area who said that they would want him as the general surgeon if they or a family member were in need. Have another procedure in the near future and I've already made an appointment to see Dr. Muntchnic.

Dr. Mutchnick performed a colon resection on my 80+ year old Mom in 2012 at Lee's Summit Hospital the day after her colonoscopy revealed a golf-ball sized tumor. Dr. Mutchnick came highly recommended by our family friend who just happens to be a surgical nurse. Mom quickly recovered from her surgery and has been cancer-free since then, returning to her passion for gardening and daily walking routine. My family found Dr. Mutchnick to be a bit quiet, but certainly a caring and practical doctor with skillful surgical abilities! At 80+ my Mom didn't want to do chemotherapy and he didn't push for it. Thanks to the surgical skill of Dr. Mutchnick, he was able to remove the diseased tissue and return our Mom to good health. I would highly recommend him!

This Dr. did not even make an attempt to review my CT and MRI Scans, and that is the only reason I went to him. He knew what he was going to tell me even before he actually saw me. LOL, he even had the nerve to tell me I could not feel the discomfort that I feel. The whole 5 minutes of his time was a total waste, and I would not recommend this doctor. The days of I am the doctor and you are just a patient are done, and if the doctor does not know the answer, he should admit it. The medical practice has changed over the last 40 years, so get with it.

I have seen over 9 doctors in less than 2 years for pain in my right side. Sometimes it was so bad had to go home from work and several times to the emergency room and one time for hospitalization. The fatigue was the worse. Not one doctor could figure it out until Dr. Mutchnick! I can not wait to have my surgery and have my life back. I love his staff, very friendly and they remember you. I will certainly go back with any more problems that needs attention with surgery. So glad I was sent to him!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Mutchnick and his staff. I had my gallbladder removed today and was terrified. He is very patient and answers any questions. He smiled the whole time and made me feel very comfortable!
