Dr. Nur Paul Matthews, MD

My husband was very ill, probably ill enough that we were considering the hospital since we hadn't established with a primary care yet. He was in such pain and discomfort that I called the office a 3:30pm to see if there was any way he could be seen as a new patient by anyone there at Matthews-Vu. The gal was so kind and told me it may be a little wait, but that they could work us in and he could see my husband for a quick visit. We had an appointment at 4:30 and feel so grateful to have found this place. The staff is amazing and so kind and the doctor was thoughtful and concerned. He spent all the time he needed to determine the best course, took all the tests needed right there, and then, the most amazing part, he called our house this evening to check in on my husband and see that he was doing ok. He said he would call us tomorrow if the labs brought back any immediate concerns, otherwise we have a follow up in 2 days. A call to our house? I have never experienced this with a doctor… outside of our pediatrician in many, many years. And he was quite aware of our case and asked if my children were doing ok. I am very touched and very happy to have stumbled upon this fine practice.
