Dr. Nusrat Ul Shafi, MD

I was seen on 11/7/25, for my annual physical, the visit with her was ok, but 2 things about this office bothers me, she has a very high turnover of staff, complete new front desk staff, new techs in the back, and for some reason she thinks it's okay to have her one of her techs, going through your chart with a computer actually sitting in your appointment with her while you are being examined, I thought dr appts were private, there was a guy tec sitting in my drs. appointment who I had never seen before, nor introduced to watching her examine me, it felt creepy, never going back here, I have gone to hospitals before that were teaching hospitals and the dr will tell you he is training someone and do you mind their presence, you can say yes or no. this not how dr Shaft does it. I have never been to a Dr. that does this.

Please find someone else. No follow up. Unnecessary tests. Horrible staff.

Dr. Shafi is not only an exceptional doctor but also deeply cares about every aspect of a patient's well-being, including their pain and mindset.

She has no idea what she is doing and is extremely rude!

After 2 visits, Dr shafi decided not to see me and I have been extremely sick for a year. Because of her, she stated, 'she no longer wants to see me, & I have also wasted many times trying to see a new primary care at Providence (other offices) & they will not see me due to her. All I need is a referral or a few tests ran on me for sure per the emergency room and she will not do it. I'm just over here dying ... I highly do NOT recommend.

This doctor really made me mad. I have a problem and it's like she doesn't want to see or treat you. She is quick to tell you not to come back and she can't help. I've gotten really frustrated with her.

Dr. Shafi has been my PCP going on two years now and after my recent visit with her she will no longer be my PCP. After receiving some disturbing news I was having a hard time processing the information and was really emotional. I begin to ask her questions and she stated that she had already told me that information. Also, that she’s spent too much time with me and she has other patients to see. She said she didn’t know what else to tell me, all in an extremely hostile tone, partically yelling at. The medical assistant was so shocked listening from the outside as was I. She gave me no real education on my condition and treated as if it was not important. I’m highly upset with the way I was treated. I will never go there again.

Felt like I was seeing a school nurse. Either she did not understand my questions or just did not care.
