Dr. Oanh Hong Lauring

I have suffered from hidradenitis suppurativa for well over a decade before I went to Lauring Dermatology, I tried every antibiotic known to man and all it left me was ill and still in pain from the disorder. I tried Lauring Dermatology based on a recommendation from my co-worker and they tried something different, a biological that actually worked and it changed my life. I am eternally grateful for their knowledge and professionalism. Everyone knows my name and it feels great to be more than just a number.

Dr. Lauring and her staff are very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The office is beautiful and welcoming. I would highly recommend her.

Everytime I go to Dr Laurings office everyone is polite and very professional. Also the treatment's I receive has improved my skin 100% and Dr Lauring has been able to target any issues I have had.i was referred to her by my husband who also goes to her .I am so very glad I have her as my Dermatologist.

Horrible experience! called for a follow-up appointment for my daughter, they could not be bothered to call me back. called again and was told the NP we saw quit and Dr. lauring no longer speaks with patients over the phone. Only medical assistants can call patients back to make recommendations for treatment at another time ??? this dermatologist has no care for follow through once they receive payment for services. Also, the front desk is beyond rude if you question them. I had stated the NP said to call back if I see a change post-surgical procedure. they were short and stated "well you can ask questions when you come in in 2 months" (which was the soonest follow-up appointment available) I will not use this doctor's office in the future.....VERY UNSAFE to have a medical assistant recommend follow up treatments for a teenager

I went there to have 1 mole each removed on me & my daughter. Procedure was quick, which was great. I didn't have any insurance, so I paid the $520 (no insurance price out of pocket) for both of us. Dr. Lauring was very thorough for the skin check on both of us. She gave my dauther 2 free samples to use. Dr. Lauring works & discusses everything quickly. The prescriptions were immediately emailed right to a local pharmacy before I could read up on them. She didn't ask us if we really wanted them. So I paid for the $100 prescriptions & decided to return them due to the reactions they may cause. So I wasn't happy about the quick emailed prescriptions. I would have rather had a hand written prescription so I could look up the side affects on the computer before purchasing them. 1 prescription would cause "come back reactions" if you stop using it (which I really didn't think I had Roscea to begin with, no severe signs of it, never diagnosed with it before). 2nd prescription… would have caused my daughter to have dry skin for a couple of weeks, & her acne wasn't that bad any way. Luckily, the pharmacy re-imbursed me the full $100 (got the "no insurance" discount) for the un-opened prescription. I canceled our follow-up visit due to not using the prescriptions & there would have been an extra office visit fee. So, I really like Dr. Lauring & I would go back just for mole/wart removals in the future if needed.

THE OFFICE FOLKS ARE THE BEST EVER ~ I'M IMMEDIATELY COMFORTABLE WHILE WAITING ~ EXCEPT I WAS NEVER WAITING. THIS OFFICE KEEPS TO SCHEDULE, WHICH IS A REAL STAND-OUT FOR A DOCTOR'S OFFICE! DR. LAURING HERSELF IS A DELIGHT AND I KNOW I'M IN EXTREMELY COMPETENT HANDS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was referred to Dr. Lauring about 3 yrs ago and she had given me Locoid cream along with some samples of another cream and I'm still having the same issues. I think Dermatologist should take skin samples and have them analyzed before prescribing people medications that doesn't work.

Dr. Lauring is very personable and knows her stuff. She helped me with my skin problems where no one else could. She works through your issue and I couldn't be happier with her. She explains the 'why' with your condition and that is extremely helpful to me. I love her!

I waited 60 minutes for my early morning appointment with no apology for the wait from any of the staff or Doctor. She clearly had way too many patients booked to be an hour behind in the morning! The waiting room was quite full for a single doctor practice. An apology or explanation would have helped. Compared to my previous dermatologist she was rushed and not nearly as thorough as I would have liked. The positives were office space is lovely and she does have good bedside manner. However, I will not return to her.
