    Ofelia Pod, DMD has been practicing dentistry for the last 14 years.Â
   Dr Pod graduated the College of Dentistry in Romania in 1995. She began her career working in the Pediatric Department of one of Romania’s most prestigious hospitals. She completed her residency in General Dentistry while at the hospital. Upon coming to the United States, she enrolled in the International Dentistry Program at the University of Illinois-Chicago and graduated in 2005 with an honor DMD degree.
   “At UIC, I was exposed to all of the latest technologies and treatments in dentistry. I use all of these experiences to this day in my practice.
    My involvement in teaching and education continues to this day. I am a teaching professional at one of the most prestigious universities from Illinois where I work with and guide dental students how to diagnose and treat dental emergencies. Being in the classroom with students keeps me informed, energized and up to date on the newest …and most effective treatments.â€
    Dr Pod is a member of American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the McHenry Dental Society.
