Dr. Ofobuike Nneji Okani, MD

This is to let Dr. Okani know that he made a huge mistake on my fathers multiple myeloma further treatment. Dr. Okani, you were doing a great job when you dumped my dad and put him on hospice. He is doing great now 2 months after you let him go. His cancer level has been going down every week since he was taken off chemo. Went from 500 to around 50 now. You know the units of what I am referring to. He is with Scott and White now and has not needed any chemo treatments since you dumped him. Hopefully this information will help you with other patients. A week before you put my father on hospice you said everything was great and he was doing great. Do you know what it is like to know you are going to die in a few weeks or months. My father does. It was an aweful feeling. He has been told by Scott and White he should have another 5 years or more. Who knows what new treatments will be proven by then. Thank you for saving his life. Hope this helps you save more patients before… you give up so early.

I have a rare disease called "Hemochromatosis". I was shocked to find that I had this disease. It was scary knowing it was rare. Dr. Okani prescribed a method of treatment, and while I am not yet cured, because the disease is incurable, I am well on my way to managing it after only three treatment. I love this Doctor. It took him one visit to discover what I had been going to other Doctors for , for over 15yrs. trying to find an answer.

I saw Dr Okani in 2003 for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was very honest and concerned about me and my family. I am pleased to say I have been cancer free for 12 years now.

I have been a patient of Dr. Okani for about 5 years. He has treated me for both colo-rectal cancer follow-up and pernicious anemia. He has always been exceptionally considerate and professional. He always asks thorough questions as to my overall well-being and suggests treatment options even though they are outside of his normal purview. I have seen doctors all across the country and I can tell you that in my opinion he is one of the best. It's hard for me to understand how someone could see him see him as rude. He is matter-of-fact but personable.

Dr. Okani treated me for Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2003. He was very positive and upbeat. He took his time with us and answered every question we had. My husband and I did not feel rushed in any way. My follow up visits have been the same way. I would recommend him to anybody. Wonderful person!

Dr. Okani treated me for pernicious anemia and I liked him then. Now he is treating my mom for Stage 4 Colon Cancer, and I could not have asked for a better doctor for her care. He is kind and knowledgeable.
